only way to talk to the live chat . ask emma . then click the receipt no option. then choose no receipt . it will then connect you with live agent. the other option , maybe faster, contact congressman office at their immigration service.

Hi-where do find the receipt no option when chatting with Emma?

I just opened this and all I can find is an option of "User has not receive receipt number".

Of course when i click on that, it tells me to wait until the receipt has been sent to me.

Could you let me know how you got Emma to connect you to a live agent?

Eamma can be faster than call. You also can try the "other" option and then say " Live agent" or at the beginning you can type "live agent". This might again give you "no receipt" option, if i can remember correctly , then you it will connect you to live agent. i did it twice, so play with the options.

I will try that too. Thank you!

Hi guys! We received a receipt number in the mail today from USCIS that they received our recondition from DoS for our I-612. When I checked the receipt number our I-612 was already approved as of today, the 26th (yay!) has anybody made it past this step that knows normally what the next steps are that they’re referring to?? Thanks!

just for reference:

We filed for a letter of no objection on November 15, 2020

DoS received my objection statement on March 28, 2021

We received our recommendation on July 14, 2021

USCIS received our recommendation on July 20, 2021

USCIS approved our I-612 on July 26, 2021

Wow that is fast. I think you do not have to do anything; just wait for your document.

The recommendation gets sent to the USCIS who take their own time for each individual case. Since you are obtaining waiver on the basis of No Objection Statement you just have to wait. You will receive a receipt notice for form I612(you don't have to fill that). We have seen receipt notices issued in a week to a month. After you get the receipt number you can track it on their website for the approval.

All the best.

I have received the approval of my I-612 now, do you know what that means now for my I-485? We were originally going to be denied because of the 2 year residency requirement but we filed to reopen our case with new information being that we have the no objection letter and that was the only thing keeping them from approving us should it all just fall into line now for that application. Currently on my USCIS account for my I-485 case it says " Interview was completed and my case must be reviewed" this has been the same message since we completed the interview back in August 2020.
