I called the Indian embassy and they told me that they have sent my NOS on the May 5th 2021 to DOS. still not display any thing regarding the NOS paper. Are there  people who are on the same boat?

You should write DOS an email to see if they received it (212ewaiver@state.gov). In my case they only updated it after I send an email asking about it.

Went through this recently. Change your address and update it with USPS mail forwarding just in case.

1. I had the same doubt. Submitted both forms in the same mail.

2. DoS informs USCIS. You do not have to do anything. The change of address for me got reflected after the favorable recommendation. Hence, I was worried that USCIS will send it to my old address, but they already had the new address from DoS.

3. These are never used. It does not matter.

hi . just wanted to let you guys know that I got my I612 approved finally today. It took 10 days from the day of USCIS receiving DOS and final approval. Now waiting for the hardcopy of it.

Congrats! You got FR on June 14, right?

Yes. NOS forwarded on 14 June. Rest timeline at USCIS is here. I reached out congressman office on 13 July and they responded immediately and said they are in touch with USCIS . Not sure if that was a factor-it might. I wish everyone here good luck and i am sure you will hear the good news soon. be patient.

While making an "expedite" request, do these (traveling in pandemic and losing job) really constitute "extreme hardship" ? I doubt. Still no updates from USCIS since I received the receipt 50 days back. Will probably have to contact Congressman's office.

Keep us posted RD07, that is abnormally long. Most people after that date seem to have received it by now, looking at the latest posts. Did you contact your congressman?

You do not need to do anything. DOS  send your FR to uscis and file a Form 612 on your behalf.  You will get a receipt notice from USCIS  for the filing. you can follow the USCIS status with that receipt number. This whole process(from FR to get the hard copy of the final approval from USCIS)  was one month for me.

I see people delay in getting their USCIS receipt numbers but can somehow get them and track their status on USCIS website? Is that the case?Is there a way of getting the receipt number from USCIS if after one month of FR they haven't emailed it to me yet?

only way to talk to the live chat . ask emma . then click the receipt no option. then choose no receipt . it will then connect you with live agent. the other option , maybe faster, contact congressman office at their immigration service.

Thank you. My congressman is pretty useless to say the least. No response to emails and all. I will try chatting Emma if after 3 weeks I haven't heard from USCIS.
