Needing advice, my interview was last Feb 13 and received 221g. I submitted the documents they needed from me feb 14, docs are NBI AKA. and cenomar, along the 221g they also asked to submit my passport. Case last updated: feb 14, then feb 19, feb 20, then March 4. Still in administrative processing. it’s almost a month and there’s no changes with the status. Anyone can explain how long will it takes ? Thank you! Frustrating coz our wedding is on April 17th and all prepared.

A good source of information is from the embassy's website. There you will find the requirement to your visa. Both situations from your 221(g) are part of the checklist of documents required for the interview from USEM.  Also, if you read on at the website you surely would see this and I quote:

Some visa applications require further administrative processing, which takes additional time after the visa applicant’s interview by a consular officer. Applicants are advised of this requirement when they apply. Most administrative processing is resolved within 60 days of the visa interview. When administrative processing is required, the timing will vary based on the individual circumstances of each case.  You can check the status of your visa application at ceac.state.gov.

For further help down the road it helps if you complete your profile.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

One last item and this item is normally on all checklist's or on the embassy website.

Please be advised that no advance assurance can be given as to when or whether a visa will be issued. You should NOT give up your job, dispose of your property, or make any final travel arrangements until you receive your passport with the visa.

I'm not trying to beat you up amount they way you went about this process. It's a lot to take in and trying to do your best is a big task. But I wanted to post these things in the event someone else reads your thread they will be brought up to speed fast. Thanks and safe travels.

I have an NBI during my interview but they also need NBI AKA.

Previously married or name correction on birth certificate?

From the documents checklist:

Please note that an NBI Clearance with an AKA is also required. Police clearances should be in the applicant’s current name, birth certificate name, maiden name, married name, and any aliases or nicknames ever used, including different spellings of all names that may have appeared on other civil documents (e.g., birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc.), even if these names or spellings have never been routinely used. Please refer to the NBI website http://www.nbi.gov.ph for additional information.

When did the embassy receive the new NBI with the AKA ?

A 221g document request can easily add a fews week or even months to the processing.

Why would you even go to the interview without the NBI and Cenomar? I really thought it was known that was required.

I brought NBI bdw, but it’s not AKA. Also, I brought all my annulment papers with annotations we didn’t know that they still need CENOMAR.

It was received last February 17. I’m on my 18 working days since my interview. It’s still refused.

There is one rule during this process.

Patience, patience, patience.

After that, check CEAC once a day, not hourly.

CENOMAR is listed as a required document.   You didn't follow the embassy checklist for what documents are needed?

We were in the same situation, about the same time. As long as you mail in what they ask for, you should be fine. Just be patient..
