I sent email to Nvc reseach with my noa2. I am not expecting anything, but it's not going to harm to try it. Going to call USCIS again at end of 4 weeks next week. It's so deflating others to see approved and get NVC email same day and we wait for 10 months for approval then wait further unknown for NVC

Yeah its extremely depressing, Let me know if you get any response from them :(

Anything over 2 weeks is more than reasonable enough to call. That is what the agent told me when I called. It is probably stuck just like ours was but they fixed it.

How long did you wait before submitting an inquiry? And did they fix it immediately after you called?

we are so confused in what to do. Lawyers is saying for 45 days but I am scared that it might take longer thn that

We waited 300 days before me got approved for noa2, after a week i saw in uscis tracker that they sent our packet at nvc we waited 2 weeks and then i told my husband to call nvc for followup thats last May 2020 then on the next day nvc sent us our invoice number via email and then 3rd week of may we started uploading docs to ceac after paying all the fees and yesterday we just received email from nvc stating we are documentarily qualified.😇 now just waiting for interview date so i can start my medical.

Tip guys: once you uploaded docs make it separate upload per year like irs per year also the w2 per year also make sure you upload the docs once and will not get rejected coz as per our experienced we submitted once and got invalid docs and waited another 2 weeks to get reviewed by nvc.. In short make sure to follow all their instructions😅

Goodluck guys!

After my husband sent an inquiry, I called. It was about 5 days after that, and another inquiry from my attorney they fixed it. However we are still waiting for NVC to accept our documents. No idea how long that will take.

Who knows how long it will take. The embassies aren't even open for interviews, plus there will probably be a huge backlog.

Ive sent another inquiri to nvc and they just replied. They told me to send a copy of our i-797. I did but on our notice on action says it for adjustment of status which is their mistake they even told us that on the phone. So i dont know if nvc can help us because of that. Its been 7 weeks now since our approval

To all who have not received NVC emails, please double check correct email addresses with both the USCIS and NVC. What I noticed is that when we got the welcome email with our case ID # for access to the NVC website, we both noticed that emails were entered wrong. In fact one of my emails was entered wrong. I was only lucky because one of the other email entered was correct and that is how I got an email but he didn’t. My husband didn’t get it because both of his emails were entered wrong. So basically, if they have wrong emails entered, you would not be able to get the welcome letter from NVC. Hope that was of help.

Was your case sent from uscis or not yet?

How would I know this? We got a letter from USCIS saying we are approved and to wait for email from NVC that should take no more than 45 days.

It takes Up to 6 weeks after NVC receive your file to assign you case number. But here is the sketch - USCIS has up to 3 months to actually send your file after approval! They usually send it pretty quickly though.
To know when they send it - on your app it will show “sent to department of state” or your can call USCIS and talk to tier 2 officer and ask him is the case sent to NVC or not and if yes when was it sent

It took us no more than 2 and a half weeks to get our case number.. You will likely get an email first.
