Today is exactly One your of my application I don't know why they are ignoring my case PD 23April 19

Don't feel too bad. I'm at 443 days. Just waiting for the 16 month date so I can file some kind of notice saying it's outside of the "normal processing time" which according to them will make them look at it again? I don't even understand that but ok. But if people are getting approved in 8-10 months and some guy on here saying it only took 4 months time then I don't know what normal processing they're even talking about. I've tried two congressman inquiring for me (and I'm working on getting a third to inquire), filed with the help of a lawyer, filed the I-129F in early October, called many times, Emma chats, expedite requests all no no no no. Just sit and wait. Now I can't get a stimulus check like others because of the same rules they made us follow (IRS says you need to file jointly) and the wait they want just to slow immigration down to a halt because unfortunately for us this is an anti-immigration administration we are living under. This process used to take 7 months not THAT long ago. It's too bad because we just want to be with our loved ones. The good news is they can't take forever, they will process eventually.

Thank you for the encouragement exactly what happened to me my spouse called and they  Said our case is still normal process we can only write when it's after normal processing while others are getting approved under few months it's unfair seriously.why are they holding some cases so long and others getting approve easily within few months. I filled with the help of a lawyer to me the lawyer are not helping on this matter they only told me that the normal process is between 12.5 - 16 month and I hire them so that we can get a perfect job.

My friend, try not to obsess over it because there is nothing you can do. Like you said, the lawyer doesn't help, and nothing I've tried helped. And look at all I've tried to do. Your time will come. VJ is helpful but it can also be a depressing place for those in our shoes. Not all stories people say on here can be true. Just make sure you and your partner are healthy, check VJ less often, and time will pass. Between now and approval date the only thing you can control is how much damage you do to your brain trying to control things out of your control. This is funny coming from someone like me who look at all I've tried to do. ;)

So majority are being denied and only a few getting visas?

It depends on the country. My husband is from a country on the travel ban list, so we just continue to pray that everything works out so we can finally start our lives as man and wife here in the states. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

So today I got a new update on my uscis account. The first one was on March 16th 2020 and again today April 21st 2020. Am I getting closer? How many times do y’all got an update before tour approval? God bless.

We got no updates until we got an approval. Said case recieved until the day we were approved. After that we got an update saying it had been sent to Dept. Of State. Our case was not transferred to another service center however.
