What reason did you put?

USCIS error for being moved to Cali as USC. CLEARLY now that is not an error as so many more have reported moving, but at the time I was the only one reported transferred.

I also said I’ve been apart from my husband for 9 years so I want to believe that was the real reason they expedited lol

How are they transferring August cases, and not doing anything for January people. There’s a 7 months gap between us. We’ve been waiting 14 months, twice as long, without any updates or transfers.

I agree  completely. If they were going to transfer cases they should have done the older ones first not the newer ones.

its cause of IOE and LIN, they have so many LIN cases at Nebraska they want to just go through them without the IOE's clogging it all up

We started dating when we were 18/19 and have always been long distance. His dad worked for an airline so he got good travel benefits for a long time. We knew we couldn’t move until we finished school, then I did a year abroad with him in Australia and later a 1.5 year stint in China. We are fortunate to see each other every 4ish months for a month or two at a time. Besides the first year, the longest time we’ve been apart was 6 or 7 months. He also has a job that allows him to work remote. We’ve been very blessed with our opportunities during these years.

As far as actual advice? Idk you just suffer a lot. I like to pick up projects or make goals for what I want completed. You can’t lament that they’re not with you - it makes time go by sooo sloowwwww

That is my question. Why are they transferring newer cases and leaving the older ones in Nebraska. You are longer than me but still, August? Come on!

For those who have expedited,

How long did it take you to get a decision for the expedite request?
We tried to expedite on feb. 19th under Military basis and our request was sent to NSC, then our case got transferred to Texas. We never got an answer or decision back, we have called and sent multiple emails and all they say is that our request has been forwarded to the proper department for further review and we should receive a decision or notice of further action SHORTLY. It’s been three weeks.

What can we do? Who can we contact about this? I am so angry!

also, my date on the website changed from February 23rd (that’s when my case transferred to TCS) to March 10th!

3/5 I called, 3/6 submitted the docs, 3/10 decision

Call about the 3/10 change! That’s a great sign! Wishing you luck and an answer!
