Hello..

We have applied for F4 visa.

Our case was in administrative processing since 8 months.. but we were very happy as we were getting updates regularly! We thought they are doing work on our case 😭

BUT ' recently they asked us to submit NEW MEDICAL EXAM.. we sent that and now after month OUR CASE STATUS HAS BEEN CHANGED TO REFUSSEED? DUHHH??? why is that so? I always heard they never refuse F4 Visa. My mother is very tensed. Idk what should we do rn. Please  heeelpp!!!!!😭😭😭

Everyone’s status was changed to refused, it’s the new Administrative Processing message. They should issue an apology and should have made an announcement first warning people they were going to change it they caused a lot of stress, confusion and panic. I went into shock had a panic attack at work and had to go home! No one has an official answer but it seems to be an update on the Administrative Processing message. When you are put in Administrative Processing technically your visa is “refused” until everything is done.

My fiancé interviewed on january 16 and after the interview the officer said that she needed to submit birth certificates for her kids and a new cenomar for herself and her ex boyfriend that she has kids with. (no 221g).  i checked yesterday and it said administrative processing and i checked it just now and it says refused but the case last update was on February 18 and it is now March 2nd.  Is this the end or is it still in administrative processing?  the pic I'm posting makes me unsure.  She has not received anything from the embassy since the interview.  Please help

The REFUSED notice is normal, for sure nothing to get excited about.    Did you receive an email from the embassy regarding the requested documents?  (check your SPAM folder also)  It would be very odd to not receive something in writing.

Did you send everything requested to the embassy by 2GO ?   Once the embassy receives all the requested documents it can still take a few weeks before the status will change  from REFUSED.   If all is good it will change to ISSUED eventually.   Just be patient, and make sure to check your email (and SPAM folder) for contact from the embassy.

Here is the Philippines forum, you would do better to post your questions there so as to get answers relating to USEM.  https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/129-philippines/

Many yesterday reported that there was glitch in the CEAC system and many, many files went to "Refused" condition when they should not have. There is nothing that the OP can do but wait for CEAC to reset and then try again. I'd say 24 hours is a good waiting period.

Status changes to REFUSED all the time (for all of 2019 for certain) when the 221g was issued for documents  (a 221g is a refusal)...  it isn't something new, at least not for the Philippines.   And status stays at REFUSED after the documents are received/reviewed/accepted by the embassy, once everything is good then status changes.

As for the CEAC software, it has been pooched since the update over a year ago.
