There seems to have been a lot of this going on today - see below thread:

Also, it wouldn't hurt to send off an email to your embassy, just to double check.

It is basically the Embassy changing the wording from Administrative Processing to Refused. Technically if anyone was in AP than they are refused until the process is complete. Your application for the visa is still being worked on. That is my understanding from watching a video from an attorney and reading other posts.

What Embassy are filing through? That is sad that they have kept you in AP since October even after submitting the documents they requested.

Thank for your response. Quite helpful.  It is in Lagos Consulate

Did the Embassy say why it is refused? Are they waiting on more documents? The Embassy has not told my husband anything as to why he has not been approved yet for his visa, or why they have not asked him to send in a new medical exam due to his expiring.

Prior to the second interview they refused because of a lack of evidence in our relationship. But we provided all the necessary evidence for that.  The day we had the second interview they didn't say much other than sending more pictures we were really surprised because we had pictures on the spot. Then we thought that we were doing that just to make us to leave. They send an email saying they are doing additional administrative processing.

Last update is the interview date 5th-June and since that date no update happened, Could it be because they were upset of me sending queries once a month?!!!! I sent him today an email asking about my statues.. could that be a reason?!!!!!!!

Is this just for a visitor visa?!

My visa interview was on December 17th of last year at London Embassy. The IO told me everything looked good and he would be happy to issue my visa once he receives the disposal of an arrest on my police certificate that showed ‘Under Investigation’.

I was handed a refusal 221g green slip that told me additional evidence was needed in the form of an updated police certificate. After the interview concluded I checked CEAC to see the status was changed to ‘Administrative Processing’

Since then I have received my disposal and updated my police certificate which I uploaded to CEAC. This was on February 18th, which is the last time my case shows as updated on CEAC.

On March 3rd the status of my case on CEAC changed from ‘Administrative Processing’ to ‘Refused’. But my case still shows as being last updated on February 18th, the day which I uploaded my documents to CEAC.

Is this a common chain of events? I thought the status would of been Refused since the day after my interview so I was surprised when it said Administrative Processing instead. But now that it says Refused suddenly 2 weeks after sending the requested documents; it has me a little worried.

I also thought it’s a little strange that it changed from AP to Refused on March 3rd without the case being updated since February 18th, leads me to believe they haven’t even touched my case so how could the status suddenly change?

Anyways I don’t know if anyone can make any sense of this, maybe I’m being paranoid, just wanting this crazy journey to be over.

My fiancé interviewed on january 16 and after the interview the officer said that she needed to submit birth certificates for her kids and a new cenomar for herself and her ex boyfriend that she has kids with. (no 221g).  i checked yesterday and it said administrative processing and i checked it just now and it says refused but the case last update was on February 18 and it is now March 2nd.  Is this the end or is it still in administrative processing?  the pic I'm posting makes me unsure.  She has not received anything from the embassy since the interview.  Please help

Check again tomorrow. Many are reporting the same thing has happened to them so I'm think as well as others that this is just a glitch and it will return to normal processing before this happened.
