Hello, my fiance had her interview in the casablanca us consulate in January 10. She was approved. That same day, they called her saying she is missing a document. She sent it through aramex. Until now she still did not receive her passport and visa. When looking at the CEAC website, it still says "ready". On the ustraveldocs website, when she puts her passport number to track it, nothing shows up, it just says "There is no status update available for the passport number submitted"  Please can we get some advice or help on whats going on. Thanks.

Sounds like it is still in AP.  I believe the consulate will contact her when everything is done.

It sounds to me as if her case is in administrative processing....as this case (as well as others) proves, cases are not approved until the interview has been conducted and all checks are done afterwards.  Unfortunately, the Consulate Officer's "verbal approval" is not really an approval.  The fact that they kept her passport is promising.

Thank you guys for the help. So the fact that her passport is not saying at the embassy its saying « no status for this passport » and when we check her case on ceac its say ready and not AP is normal?

I am not familiar with the system used to track passports, it might just be with a group that has not updated anything.  Usually when you get the Ready message on CEAC it means you are close.  All you can do is wait at this point.

Well the thing is, it has said "ready" since the interview, about 2 months now. It hasn't changed. Hasn't changed to AP or anything.

The missing Document causes that delay, if you guys approved there is nothing to worry about just keep checking CEAC until it turn to AP than ISSUED / 14 days after you will get notification from ARAMEX

Approval is signified by one thing only....when the status changes to "Issued".....

Well I mean that document has been delivered since January, and there is still no update. Is it really causing that much of a delay?

Morocco is known for extended administrative processing times........Evidence of approval is when the status changes to issued..

i believe that the Moroccan consulate is different from Taiwan consulate

I understand....but 3 months is a long time to review a document.....they should have a better system.
