CEAC SAYS REFUSED AFTER BEEN ON AP SINCE 24TH ALL EVIDENCE SENT IN

There are many, many threads going round here today on this.  So far, it seems it was a site-wide change in semantics only.  In other words, you were in AP yesterday, and you are still in AP today, but they have renamed it.

A 221g *is* a refusal....a soft refusal, generally allowing the applicant to submit additional evidence or documents.  The new nomenclature just names it as such.

This is my take on it from reading about it here on VJ.  Please keep us posted on your case.

I have no inside knowledge, but from the number of people posting about this today (and especially the ones who posted the entire paragraph from their CEAC status), my take on it is that it does not reflect a change from yesterday's status - just a change in words.  I would imagine that you are still in AP, and that depending on how busy your consulate is, your updated documents may not have even been looked at yet.
