IP address issue

Not to mention, Ewok, that I asked you numerous times over several offline emails to provide this evidence, and you refused saying it's policy not to do so, and then you post it here. Now that you are posting it, it is clear you were bluffing with me, since my IP doesn't start with 24 or a 2 or a 4 or anything near it.

I also told you over several emails, recently and in the past, collier/aqoul/efortless ARE the same poster. I met him here on VJ, and it was a different VJ member altogether who ID'ed him from his blog when he first posted here, not me.

Yes please back to topic. Peezey that IP was only one of theirs. Others start with different numbers. Also I did chose to release this with a censored IP after you publicly said I did not know what I was doing and they were not the same person.

It seems there was a mass "purge" in here. Unfortunately, it seems some hasty conclusions have been drawn.

I have come to know a bit more, and the record needs to be set straight. Maybe I will be banned forever for saying this, but:

#1. Kakya vstrecha is (or was) a genuine member (not a sock puppet.) She is married to ahmed2258. She and her husband went through the visa process, and are actually known to several members here who can confirm this (one VJer has already mentioned it in this very thread.) Kakya's views may not be popular, but she is not the same person as Aqoul, etc.

#2. Aqoul/Collier/Effortless/Pernicious Anemia/Vitiligo (I probably missed some other IDs) are most certainly the same person. His or her views were not very popular, either. But he/she is not "masquerading" as the persons mentioned in #1.

#3. Peezey is not the same person as either Kakya or Ahmed or Aqoul or any of these other characters. Again, her views may not be popular, but she is not the same person posting as either #1 or #2.

If you look at the history of each of these members' posts, along with the information in their profiles, it should be glaringly obvious that these are 3 entirely different individuals (or actually 4, counting ahmed who doesn't seem to post much.)

It is certainly up to the Administrators to decide who they want participating on their forum -- it's their board. However, to portray #1, #2 and #3 as the same person is very misleading. It may be an honest mistake, but it's still a mistake that should be acknowledged.

VJ has had a long history of "sock puppets" -- some are invented just for entertainment (like Ric Flair, for instance).... but as we all know, some are created simply in order to make disruptive or abusive posts (Matako and Risto come to mind,) or to appear as "supporting" certain members in their debates/opinions (tiredandwornout was an example of this.)

Note: It seems that Peezey was initially disabled, but is now reinstated, so I guess she has been deemed "not guilty."

Let's see, because **someone** isn't telling the truth and/or made a mistake? Since I was accused of being the same people, why isn't possible KV is being wrongly accused as well? The first accusation made toward me was, I have the same IP as them, and clearly I don't. There is a problem here, and it's not with KV in my opinion. Check how they post. Nothing like aqoul. Also, check the link to KVs sig pic. Would aqoul create a photobucket account called "i love ahmed"?? Hardly. But the person who undisables accounts refuses to go any further, it seems.

Maybe it's just me but I've always believed there is that unwritten rule of not dissin' the webmaster/board owner no matter what. . . especially in public. I gotta give the cap'n props for his patience in all of this 'cause if it were *my* board I'd have zero tolerance for that stuff. Just my opinion

If your account were to be disabled with the reason given that *you* were vitiligo, I'd stand up and say that wasn't true. And I'd hope that others would do the same for me. It's an issue of dragging someone's name through the mud who doesn't deserve it.

Oh, and stop kissing up....

Anyway, IMO since it was publicly stated that KV and vitiligo were the same person, I think that it should be publicly stated if, in fact, it is discovered that they are not. Of course, I have no proof of anything....

This is all a load of #######. I personally know Peezey and know she would not spend the time to make up another account to post what she thinks. That being said and Peezey's account been restored, I think that the issue brought up is how the care needs to be taken in addressing these issues (and not simply going by rumor -- which in this case was inaccurate).

Bottom line. All the other members (KV, effortless, etc) shared identical IP's. There is no faking that or getting it wrong. Peezey had a very similar IP and I locked her account temporarily and requested she email back her side. She was offended and did give justification on why it was not her. That was all I was looking for. I unlocked her account promptly and that was that. I understand she is upset that I even 'thought' she might have been related to the other accounts however KV and the other accounts did share identical IP's so there is no confusion on that to be had.

My IP that starts with a 67.x is NOT nearly identical to the IP you posted of 24.x for KV, so let's quit with this line of #######. My IP doesn't have an 24 anywhere in it.

I never thought peezey was any of them (although my inept inspector clouseau instincts at one point thought peezey was sarahandhicham ) but how in the name of sam hill can aquol be in the uk if he just filled out the interview papers for the moroccon embassy in january....................unless he got denied the visa and never came to the US?....in which case he's got some splainin' to do to brkngrl That is why I thought that KV was married to him 'cause her SO got his interview in January....aquoul filled out his interview forms (i.e. pkt 3) in january at same consulate......

I need my inspector hat to figure this one out.
