How did you request the transfer?    The transfer request is initiated at the embassy where you want the case file to be transferred to, they will contact the embassy where the case file was initially shipped by NVC.   < Is that what you did?

Sorry it is taking so long, it happens.

Initially I requested case transfer to 2nd embassy where I would like to have interview, and they sent a official request to 1st (original) embassy. My case has been transferred through diplomatic pouch, not NVC

Good, you had the 2nd embassy request the transfer ... and yes that is correct NVC has nothing to do with the case file being transferred the 2nd time between the two embassies.   But CEAC status reacted to NVC shipping the case file initially and status changed to READY when the 1st embassy received the case file.  After that CEAC status won't show the transfer timeline between the two embassies.

Like said, just need to be patient and stay in contact with the 2nd embassy.

My experience is that some have had movement on their file after contacting the sending embassy.

Should I? .... I mean, what else they can do ... they shipped the document already. 😐 but I guess I gotta try if there’s no contact any time soon.

My status was Ready initially (when first embassy got our file from NVC), changed to Transfer in progress, and it’s Ready again now. 😐 Yes I will do! Thank you -

If you are at 4 months since the request I for sure would stay in contact with the embassy ... some embassies require you to wait for their Packet 3 before starting the visa application process, not sure for Korea, you could check their website.

I stay in contact with them, even yesterday. But my case hasn’t arrived yet according to them.

and yes - they told me I might be able to proceed next steps after they confirm my case arrives. (With packet3)

According to that, all you need to do for now is be patient and wait for packet 3 to arrive.  Not much need to keep contacting the embassy daily.
