Hello Family,

So I applied my EAD renewal on October 1, 2019. My lawyer sent it to NBC and NOT Vermont. I am now out of processing time. As per my e-mail exchange with my lawyer a couple of weeks ago, he says nothing can be done before USCIS and/or NYC fully re-opens. (His office is in manhattan and i think he lives quite far, perhaps he does not have access to the files).

Now, I am thinking to use the "Inquire about a case outside normal processing time" link on USCIS page. Any advise??

Yes u can do inquiry through the uscis make sure to have the receipt number also informe your attorney about it

Thank you so much. Do you have any sample of written personal statement as VAWA ?

Yoy need to write down your own statement with you own words about the courtship and the abuse you suffered if you claim vawa baesd of only emotional abuse you will need to get a psychological evaluation done from a professional therapist

Dear VJ Family i have a very urgent question, apparently my case for my I-485 was denied in 2018 but i was still able to obtain a EAD can someone please explain?

What i'm trying to say is that in 2015 just before my interview i filed for my VAWA and according by my lawyer my interview was supposed to be put on hold. and now i got a case tracer and when i was going  trough the case history i saw that in 2018 my case was denied and they send me a deniel and the explanation, what i'm trying to say i never received anything, then again i was applying for my EAD under my I-485 and i was getting my C09 under my I-485 can someone explain could that be a glitch or something im freaking out :(

You were lucky by getting your ead approved while your AOS denied try to reopen your AOS file a motion to reconsider what the basis for getting your AOS denied

But if my AOS is denied can i still get EAD approved based on i-485, i'm using 2 different case trackers and on the USCIS website it is not showing but on a different tracker is showing that it was denied in september 2018 but i got 2 EAD since then i mean since 2018. And now when i applied again for a new EAD in 02/2020 i got a notification that it has been proces and again under my I-485 so is my I-485 denied or it is a mistake ? Me personali i never recived that notice idk about my lawyer i tried to call her but she is not replying !!!

Hi everyone. I just want to encourage everyone who have been waiting on their vawa approval, interview or green card which might be a bit longer that normal processing time.

I  started this journey since January of 2017 and I finally Got my green card today! God is never late. Trust his timing even when it seems unbearable.

You can't file EAD without having AOS pending uscis might deny your EAD on basis you don't have AOS pending with uscis

Good luck

This is so confusing and idk my question is completely different but tnx for replying.

P.S

According to the Case tracker that im using my case vas denied in 2018 september 2018, but since then i have received 2 EAD one after the deniel and it is under the category c09 that is being issued only when you have a pending AOS, and one in 2019 that is also under the category C09. Please correct me if EAD c09 is not only being issued when you have a pending I-485 ?

Please is sandranj can assist as well 🙏

Thank you for your advice. I'll write by myself as my English is not so much perfect. The reason i need a sample  form so I can see the way how you write down. I'll check and find therapist next week before i fill self-petition.

I am here answering questions  since 2005, and everyone knows that I don't talk here often about God. I  respect all religions. I am christian, and a I am a christian missionary as well.  During this difficult time that we are living I want to ask each one here to pray to God to heal our land. We need God's divine healing. God gives us a promise for the united prayer of two or three who agree in what they ask. Brazilian's people are often getting together for the "united prayer" with one purpose, to ask God to heal the land.(see video below)

One of my friends died of coronavirus, and she was younger than me. My accountant almost died, and I have another friend battling this terrible virus. May the Lord keep you and your family safe,I am praying for you.  Visa Journey moderators you and your families are in my prayers as well.

2 Chronicles 7:14 (NKJV) 14 "if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."
