Your son can write an affidavit mentioning about the abuse,and ask him to put his date and place of birth , full address and phone number.He must notarize the letter. Your pastor can give an affidavit as well mentioning what he knows about the abuse and when he found out about the abuse.He must mention as well date and place of birth, address and phone number and ask him to notarize the affidavit. Get affidavits from friends to state about the bonafide marriage, they don't need to know about the abuse ok.

Sandra I just want to know please you said Vawa petitioners are not subjected to the public charge until petitioners file for adjustment status Only or until we became Citizen ?

 

You are not considered public charge until you receive your GC.

I'm permanent resident just still waiting for Stimulus check it should comes in mail since no Direct deposit information.

Will Receiving Stimulus check from IRS have any negatively impact any public charge determination in the future for permanent resident to become USA citizen ? Stimulus check consider as public charge for Green card holders ?

It's not public charge the stimulus check, and it will not have any negative effect in your VAWA  case.

Unemployment IS NOT considered PUBLIC CHARGE,it is a benefit!!!!!You can apply for unemployment ok.

Did you read the I-765 instructions? If you entered as a student or tourist you need just to submit form I-765!

Thank you so much. Yes I was married to US citizen but now divorced. Vawa is still in process. Does it apply that I am still an immediate family?

Can anybody tell me what does it mean ? It's under I-360 receipt number . I have not applied for EAD . And my I -485 is pending .

 That's sounds pretty. So what can I do with that card ? and Do I need to inform USCIS about I-485 that it is pending move to the local office ? ANd How long does it take to get an interview for I-485?
