I've got in the mail the RFE they sent me, they ask more things regarding shared residency and good faith.

@sandranj how can i get in touch with Sandra?

Sorry I am not helping people to answer their RFEs. I am helping those filing VAWA/AOS. To answer your RFE I suggest you to hire one attorney. It's time consuming to answer an RFE, and I  don't have time to help everyone. If you can't afford to hire an attorney I suggest you to write your affidavit again but this focusing more in the courtship and then your life with your spouse after getting married, and gather affidavits from your family as well.To consider a bonafide marriage USCIS considers the intent to enter into the marriage.

Does anyone know if NBC is open and processing cases as normal. My work permit is pending for the last 281 days. I have not heard anything yet. I reached out to my congressman back in Feb, then USCIS send me biomatric appointment. I did those by the first week of March. Since then there is no news. On Monday i emailed my congressman again asking if there is any update. They replied me back saying there is no update until this pandemic is over.

I am not sure how long this gonna take.

They are working and the processing time is normal.

I can only estimate based on my own experience. Mine changed to approved a month after card production. Either ways you're approved! Nothing can change that..not even if it's not updated. It will though. So give it more time honey! 😊🌸

Stillwinnng, kindly check your private message. Thanks

I got both these RFEs..in my case I didn't really have much documents to support my case..for shared residence..I got our rent receipts/lease..few mails, utility bills, letter from landlord confirming my spouse and I lived together..also our neighbors wrote..friends and family as well. And then came my affidavit! I poured out my soul! Same goes for the good faith marriage..affidavits from mutual friends and family also I included it in my personal affidavit! They basically want to know there was a credible history leading to a life together..and not just for immigration benefits..this is what they want to establish! Explain it away from courtship through marital life and on to the abuse..it's all part of the story..no need to be anxious..I did it, you can too!👍

Long shot, but has anyone ever tried getting a TWIC card on this forum? I am waiting for GC interview and last time I travelled internationally was in 2017, so my admission stamp already expired. Just curious maybe someone knows of some loophole how can I get that card, need it for work. Thanks.
