They will probably just leave it in the mailbox. So after the status says "card being produced" for all my cards I also got another update (3-5 days later) saying it was mailed, and it has a tracking number. Usually it is delivered 3-5 days after it's mailed.

Oh ok, I’m wondering if they will show the tracking number on the app because I don’t get phone status updates for this case. And thank you for the response.

Hi family,

I would like to ask if anyone received C31 ead card but never received an approval letter. I received C31 ead half month ago but I still didn’t get the approval letter. The online status is showing card was mailed but not case was approved. My lawyer told me USCIS skip the approval letter. But I feel unsafe if I don’t get it. Do I need to contact congressman to get the approval letter?

Thanks to all

Hi guys,

I need a really good advice on the below.

I just moved from CA to TX and I have a question about the address change.
So, waiting time for an interview at my local office in TX is 22 months, but in local office in California, it was 6 months. So I am just thinking what if I will not change my address in order to avoid almost 4 x more waiting time? I understand that USCIS requires us to update the address in 10 days after we move, but every time they place you in the end of the waiting line in a new office which just multiplies it for you.  I moved 3 times in last 2 years and every time I need to transfer my case and be in the end of the line again and again. And even with living in TX, I am not planning on living here for a really long time. I am not even sure if I will be here for those 22 months... I also clearly understand that USCIS can punish you for doing so by penalties, jail time or removal from the US. But maybe there is any process available for people who move often? Or you literally can be in pending status for indefinite amount of time if you move often??

Will appreciate any useful advice or information!

Thank you!

First get  c31 work permit and then you have to wait another 1 to 5 weeks for i360 approval latter .

Not sure which app you're referring to, but when my I360 got status change to card ordered the next update did contain a tracking number on USCIS case status check with my I360 receipt number. Why don't you get status updates for this case?

You should be prepared to need some of the following:

- Personal statement about your relationship (good faith marriage)

- Statements from friends and family either about your relationship being real or them witnessing some abuse (good faith marriage/abuse proof)

- Statement from a doctor diagnosing you with some condition caused by abuse, such as depression etc. (proof of abuse)

- FBI clearance/police clearance from your country (good moral character)

- Bills, lease, bank statements, joint tax returns and other similar things to prove you lived together (good faith marriage)

I'd say these are the most common things to send out in response to RFE, of course most likely they will only pick 1 category for which proof they need (like good faith marriage).

In my personal experience - I sent them police clearance, police report for abuse, and personal statement in my initial package. 20 months into I360 I got RFE for good moral character, because I went to my country and they said "if I stayed there for 6+ months in the 3 (or 2 I forgot) years prior to filing I360 I need police clearance". I responded with FBI clearance for US, I94 explaining I only had 1 2-week trip to my country in the past 6 years, copies of my boarding passes (travel history didn't load on the I90 website), and a detailed table with all my addresses for the past 8 years or so. Additionally, I sent them a bunch more stuff, because I know some people get 2-3 RFE requests. I sent copies of marriage license, police report, ID copies with same address, joint tax return, and a few more things I can't recall anymore. Got approval 4 months after.

Hey, probably good faith marriage and/or proof of abuse. Unless your response to the 1st RFE wasn't good, then it could be GMC again I guess.

Hi sandranj,

or any one please leave your comments if you have any inputs.

I have a combo card and filed for extension for that.

My H1 B got approved from my employer, so what happens to my combo card if i start working on H1 B

What happens to my combo if i use H1 B at port of entry

Please suggest me what to use.

Thanks,

Tony
