Good morning Family, almost after long 19 months I got RFE tiding through case tracker this morning. I don't know what's in it? @Stillwinning!!!😊 and other members, please share with me through message a specimen of well drafted RFE reply so I can start working on it . Thanks

I received an RFE after 18 months as well so its very normal. My RFe was to send more evidence  of extreme cruelty.

Guess it will be a month /several weeks before we get receipt notice given the pandemic, huh?

Also, I have a few months left before I'm officially a physician but I can try to answer whatever questions anyone has about the pandemic with the caveat being that given the nature of this platform, it is not official medical advice.

Please stay safe, ladies and gentlemen. We don't have a cure for this virus yet, so the safest thing for everyone now is to not contract it in the first place. Some of the drugs suggested are showing some promise in some patients but no effect at all in others and their side effect profile is still quite terrible. Many of us on this thread are immunosuppressed due to chronic stress from the issues that have brought us to this thread so we can't afford to get sick as well. Take care of yourself, wash your hands for at least 20 seconds often and be conscious of how close you are next to other people. As far as the vawa/greencard aspect, we just need to hang in there, the hard part is already over.

Thanks dear.❤ But I believe USCIS is still working on cases..we're still seeing approvals for i360. However interviews, does seem to be on hold..kind of...I hope and pray all of this passes real quick.🙏 please hurry up and join the list of physicians..may God see you through and bless you real good!😘😊🙏

Hi everyone, I am an approved i360 and i485. This site has given me strength and hope since I started my journey in 2016. I would like to share my journey first as an inspiration for other members who are going through the same things as I did a few years ago. I also can’t express enough of words to show how much appreciation for Sandra, our great advisor. 2018 was a great year for me: in February, I obtained permanent residency. This allowed me to have an opportunity to go back to school for education. And I chose nursing. Then in fall 2018, I started nursing school. Nursing school was another tough journey, but my heart knows this is what I want to do. In less than 6 weeks, I am graduating with a BSN degree!!! We are going through a difficult time dealing with this pandemic and I hope everyone out there is taking good care of themselves. For me, I am ready to join the workforce to fulfill the mission of nursing profession: to take care of people.

Nursing school have occupied me with studying, clinical hours, and exams that I did not realize that 2 years have already passed and in 7 months, I will be able to apply for naturalization. I am sure that I will be busy after graduation, therefore, I am starting to look at the process for naturalization. I have some questions to @sandranj as well as other members. On form N-400:

-       How do I state that I am a VAWA applicant?

-       Part 10, since my marital status right now is divorced, do I just skip item 2 to 8 and start at item 9?

-       My ex-husband was married before me. However, I do not have information of when that marriage ended. Am I required to provide that information?

-       My ex-husband was a US citizen through naturalization (more than 10 years before we met). I do not have copy of his naturalization certificate. Am I required to provide that information?

-       What documents should I provide USCIS?

Since there are no guidelines for VAWA applicants, N-400 application is a little confusing for me so I hope that I can get help from you guys.

no my lawyer didn't include that in the package i guess if she has included that in the package i won't need to file a waver?

Yes, you must include the receipt of your I-485 that you paid for it. I also send my biometric's appointment receipt note. They always renew my EAD using my first biometrics and i never had to do it again.

If you mean SSN it took them 9 weeks because they have to check with USCIS:rolleyes: they said 6 weeks. and now i have to send a renewal real quick because I have like 4 months left for the EAD. VAWA and the waiting game. But hung on there we are almost there, next thing we know having the GC on hand. We might get it straight due to the Corona. God be with all of us.

Yeah I mean SSN. So this EAD c31 also has a expiration date ? This is so confusing... I hope all goes without interview straight to have on mail our GC

unfortunately yes. But God willing we don't have to do it more than once. Let's all pray to get our GC without the interview.

Keep been patient..it's coming! Your EAD has the issue date, that's when it valid from... Your attorney is your representative for the petition, so correspondence goes to him. My mails went to my attorney as well..even if you update your physical address, the mails will still go to your attorney! Do you have plans of letting your attorney off the case? Most likely no! So just make sure you go pick up your mails from him/her whenever you receive one. Inconveniencing but what else can you do?💁
