I just received deferred action notice and approval letter in the mail. (I got my c31 EAD in January)

It says class 1B1. Does anybody know what that means? I haven’t read this here in the forum before...

@Shroy123  @Stillwinning!!!😊

I believe it refers to the fact that you're the self petitioning spouse of a U.S. citizen. So is your spouse a GC holder or U.S. citizen? Congrats on the approval letter.👌

Thank you 😊 And yes he is a US citizen but this notice has a priority date on it. I always read priority date is for people whose spouse is an LPR? Is that normal?

@GreenB Please be aware that you can also research to confirm anything you're unsure of to avoid absorbing or clinging to false/wrong information...I checked again and the answer is still same as I mentioned yesterday. Here👇👇👇

IB1 – Self-petition spouse of U.S. citizen.

IB2 – Self-petition child of U.S. citizen.

IB3 – Child of an alien classified as IB1 or IB6.

IB6 – Self-petition spouse of U.S. citizen.

IB7 – Self-petition child of U.S. citizen.

IB8 – Child of an alien classified as IB1 or IB6.

It means your I360 got approved and you're getting EAD under C31 category. I765 you applied for was probably under C09 category.

Hi all!

I just need to know if USCIS still schedule interviews during the lockdowns, etc these days?

And how long does I-131 parole take to be approved do you think?

Thank you guys in advance!

You can look up your local office announcements on USCIS website. I believe all the offices are closed until at least April 7. After that we just have to wait and see any new announcements.

I131 takes anywhere between 1 and 10 months, really depends. Wish there was more clarity on it. I'd say if everything was filed okay you should expect it in 3-5 months after filing, but there are people here who wait way longer than that.

Approval after 883 days!! November 2017 filer

Today, after 883 after sending my documents my vawa was finally APPROVED!!

I applied in November/2017 and received a RFE in April/2019. My RFE was answered by June/2018 and I was waiting for 9 months for an answer.

I contacted my congressman during this time and USCIS told him that my case was under background check so I had nothing to do but wait.

I was asked for RFE twice. First time was good faith and good character, second time I got 3 RFE’s and I was about to give up! So if you are in this situation right now, DON’T GIVE UP, you will be fine! GOD HAS YOU IN THE PALM OF HIS HAND” Isaiah 49:16

Thank you @Stillwinning!!!😊 @sandranj and everyone from this forum.

My office is Newark NJ, is there anyone here from there? How long did you wait for interview?

I’m sharing my timeline below:

2017:

10/18/2017: Package sent by mail (I-360; I-485; I-131; I765)

11/05/2017: Notice date

12/01/2017: Biometrics

2018:

01/31/2018: RFE for I-360 (good faith marriage & good character)

02/22/2018: EAD + AP approval

04/18/2018: RFE answer received by USCIS

2019:

01/02/2019: Renewal EAD + AP

02/06/2019: EAD + AP approval

04/08/2019: RFE for I-360 (shared residence + good moral character + abuse)

06/28/2019: RFE answer received by USCIS

2020:

01/05/2020: 2nd Renewal EAD + AP approved

03/24/2020: i-360 (Vawa) Approved!!!

Congrats! I filed in April 2016, received RFE one time, got approved for I-360 on January 3rd 2019 and still waiting for the interview. It's been nearly 15 months and god knows how many more months ahead...
I'm a NYC based applicant.

Oh wow. So you're waiting that long for the AOS. Isn't that beyond timeline? Did you seek any help from Congressman?

@gurgen. We have the same timeline. I am also waiting for interview. I totally can relate to your feelings. Filed April 03, 2017. Approved Jan 04, 2019. Also NYC. With everything that's going on, don't know when that will happen. Stay safe.

Wow, looks like almost the same timeline! I guesses you received RFE as well?

There's been many things slowed down the proccess like; RFE, Government shutdown, and now this... I've felt many times giving up and leave everything behind, leave for good from U.S.
