@Poupis, same thing happened to me. I never got any update for "card Production ". I got a notification on Jan 04th 2019 that my I 360 was approved. I Never received EAD 31. Been using only my C09. When I received my approval noticed at the end of Jan 2019, it stated that my case has been approved since Dec 07th 2018. I guess I was supposed to get my EAD 31 in Dec 2018. When I asked my Lawyer about my EAD 31, he said that some people get it, some don't. I didn't bother arguing since I already had my C09.

Thank you for sharing youR experience!!! I’m completely fine with my C09 too. I saw your recent posts. Did you get your interview notice yet? Or you are still waiting?

@Poupis In part 10 Q 12 of the I360 petition there's a checkmark that can be put if you wish to receive EAD. I believe some applicants/lawyers mark it and some don't (my guess is that some lawyers mark it no to charge you for an extra application but who knows). If you can find a copy of your petition and check that page it would help to know what to expect. It you marked yes, then it is likely that your card will still be produced later on. If you marked no - all good too, but no card will be mailed to you under C31 category unless you apply for it separately (and I believe you would have to pay an application fee for that)

Thank you! I will try to figure this out and I will let you guys know.

Hi Fam! I just received my EAD/AP but i noticed it doesn’t have the fingerprint, it says not available. 2 of my previous EAD/AP have fingerprints on them, so im just curious about this one. Will it affect future travel?

I received my EAD today and it has the same exact thing. My previous ones also had fingerprints before, not sure what caused this change.

I’ve seen some question about Fafsa and Prima facie.

I’ve been studying Nursing School (community college) using FAFSA. We need the SSN and the Prima Facie. That’s my second year studying for “free” with Fafsa! I can help you if you have any questions!

Hi. How can i have the FAFSA please. I have a Vawa case pending. I have a prima facie.

That’s right. But, do you understand what is nonresident aliens? Don’t get confused. If you used form 1040 to file your taxes then you are a resident alien, then you are eligible and will receive the $1200 check. Green card holders are also resident aliens. You are a resident alien if you applied for adjustment of status and lived a full year working and paying taxes in the U.S.

Nonresident aliens must use Form 1040NR or Form 1040NR-EZ. Those are people working temporarily in the U.S with specific VISA such as F, J, M or Q.

Thank you. It makes sense completely but I am afraid filing for such benefit 😞

@sandranj can I apply? Will it affect my gc interview? I have approved vawa

You can apply for unemployment, it will not cause any impact in your green or naturalization ok.

@Shroy123 Sandra already answered the same question you have now. I just confirmed that all United States Residents taxpayers will also receive the government checks.

Just a reminder that a resident for taxes purpose is not the same as Permanent Resident (Green Card).

Where did you confirm this?

You can find it anywhere in the news.

Who is eligible?

All U.S. residents are eligible as long as they have a work-eligible Social Security number and meet the income requirements. People whose income is entirely from nontaxable, means-tested programs — such as Supplemental Security Income benefits — are eligible too. If a person is a dependent on someone else’s tax return — such as a young adult — they cannot get a payment.
