if they hold your i-485 and you have pending i-765. most likely they will approve that EAD.

Hi everyone here, pls I'm a bit worried cos I received rfe for my I485 .. It's for my birth certificate, hospital birth certificate wasn't accetped. They want the national population birth cert from my country.

My parent just sent me the national population birth cert , it has my correct date of birth */*/1987 and includes my parents names but its dated 1997, cos it was issued to them 1997. 

My lawyer said my case might be denied cos of this, we haven't sent the doc yet. Pls has anyone eencountered this? Any suggestion? Pls I'm worried , I don't know what to do.

What do you mean "its dated 1997"? Does is say you were born 1997 or does it just say it was issued 1997?

I lost my original birth certificate many years ago, I have a replacement one that says "repeated" in the corner since it's not the original and was issued when I was maybe 15yo or so, but it was always accepted.

Don’t worry, I had the same RFE and same situation. My birth certificate was re-issued in 2018, I had asked my family to send me after I got the RFE. It was accepted by USCIS

 

send it without delay. Btw, is this lawyer an idiot or something? 
 

if your birthdate is correct and details are correct, date of re-issue has no bearing. It’s from the government, just re-issued... people do it everywhere, in USA as well. I had to order my spouse’s birth certificate as well, when we applied for I-485. No problem what so ever

hi everyone

I just received my C31 EAD today but it says that it's not valid for reentry to US. I am not sure why, I thought my lawyer applied for it.

also, today I got notification that my C09 combo card renewal got approved, so my question is - would both of the EAD's be vaild or one is going to be voided? 

would I be able to travel with my renewed combo card, since that one will have advance travel parole?
