Wow, this is awesome and really has brightened up my day. God works miracles. I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU AND I KNOW THAT MY DAY IS COMING TOO. I had my biometrics on the 10th of March and today I have recieved the prima facia. I would like to know if you could tell me what else to expect and how long you think it will takeoff me to get my ead. I have 2 more classes left of school and Can't wait to work.

Of course your day will come. Everyone has their day dear😊 good thing you just got your prima facie..at this point, you need to be patient..if you filed for i765, you should be hearing from them in the next 4-6months...could even be sooner..sometimes later..but let's look at the bright side. Praying for you.🙏 don't forget i360 is taking 17-22 months at least to be adjudicated. Goodluck.😊

EAD RENEWAL DENIAL

 

Hello everyone, I am in a very confusing situation now.

I submitted my EAD renewal Nov 7th 2019 and got extension letter in December and finger print.

I received denial letter today stating because my I 485 was denied back in Jan 3 2019.

Please note: I filed with i 130, i 485 and i 765 back in 2017.

In 2018, the abuse got intense and I could I ran for my life.

I files VAWA in Dec 2018 with another i 485, I paid $1225.

My old 1485 was denied in Jan 3 2019 for abandonment because we never went for interview.

They also acknowledged in the letter that they are aware that I am adjusting my status through other means.

My EAD was sent March 2019.

But the renewal was denied because my old i 485 was denied back in Jan 2019

I attached a copy of my new i 48 when I submitted my renewal papers.

 

I am confuse,  do not know what to do, Please help me. I need advise @sandraj

My husband called me again today and he was very very angry. Apparently, he got a letter in the mail at his address saying that the I-130 was reopened. (The I-485 reopen letter was sent to my safe address by the way) I forwarded this concern to my attorney but I am so upset with USCIS for this. Did anything like this happened to anyone here?

Hi file i360 in 8/16/2017 got approved in 5/5/2019 send i485 on November 4 2019 an have been waiting 4 months now is there any body file there i485 in that time of November an got approved or got interview as yet

I have been being a silent reader on this forum, i got an RFE of 9 pages giving details of discrepancies in Bank statement and made most of my documents null and void which is weird .They asking for good faith of marriage ,Battery and shared residence .This sounds weird because my I-360 file was accepted september 6 2018 and they reply March 10 2020 for an RFE asking for all these during this pandemic .....i dont know what to do ....i feeel hopeless right now!!!!

I just wanted to assure you, that you’re not alone . I submitted my EAD renewal C09 October 29 2019 (was received) and am using my 180 days to work now . I have a friend who submitted his renewal December 2019 and got his actual card January 2020 (this friend is on AOS, he just did his stoke interview August 2019) . The way I see this, cases are different and this all depends on the immigration officers handling one’s cases . 
 

These officers and immigration employees are humans like us but most of them I’ll say are nonchalant and lazy and take their time on cases thus piling up their individual workloads . I’ve heard about a case in New Jersey of two Couples who went to AOS interview summer 2017 and the officer placed them on reviews. This couple made many inquiries and finally was able to speak to a field office director who apologized to them and said this particular officer was transferred and NEVER assigned their file to another officer to make a case . The director told this couple, to get a medical report that same day that their report was expired and the director approved their case that same day . This is true life story in Newark field office . 
 

so, my friend I want you to know you’re not alone . I feel your pain and we both submitted October . Only those who’ve actually waited for their renewals even a month to when their 180 day extension is about to expire will understand. It happened in my last renewal last year . I had a month to my 180 day expiring and I involved the USCIS ombudsman and my renewal was approved that week . it'll be alright my dear .

Probably you made some mistake when you filled out the renewal. USCIS will not consider the old AOS while adjudicating the I765.Could you please post here a copy of the denial, just erase your name ok .

nothing to worry about. since you already applied for Vawa, they can hold your i-485, however, your i-130 will be denied if they call you for interview and your spouse does not go wit you.

i just checked my mail and i found that USCIS send me a Prima FACIE  DETERMINATION. I am surprise to see that because i was not expecting that. It is valid for one year. My receipt date is 12/27/2019.

Could you share your timeline? Did uscis send you a RFE before?
