Hello @sandranj i submitted my ead renewal since October and I haven’t been approved ,all I just got is the receipt and extension letter of 180 days ..whenever I check my case status it keeps showing me case were updated to finger prints taken..it has been showing that for the past 5 months now ..I dnt really know what is going on ,I need this card to present to my employer as they keep asking me ..some people that filed for renewal Jan have gotten their EAd already and we that filed October haven’t gotten it and we send same renewal to same Vermont it’s not like it’s different state..I sent it to Vermont ...

I barely comment here and I come in and read the comments and log off .

I just wanted to assure you, that you’re not alone . I submitted my EAD renewal C09 October 29 2019 (was received) and am using my 180 days to work now . I have a friend who submitted his renewal December 2019 and got his actual card January 2020 (this friend is on AOS, he just did his stoke interview August 2019) . The way I see this, cases are different and this all depends on the immigration officers handling one’s cases .

These officers and immigration employees are humans like us but most of them I’ll say are nonchalant and lazy and take their time on cases thus piling up their individual workloads . I’ve heard about a case in New Jersey of two Couples who went to AOS interview summer 2017 and the officer placed them on reviews. This couple made many inquiries and finally was able to speak to a field office director who apologized to them and said this particular officer was transferred and NEVER assigned their file to another officer to make a case . The director told this couple, to get a medical report that same day that their report was expired and the director approved their case that same day . This is true life story in Newark field office .

so, my friend I want you to know you’re not alone . I feel your pain and we both submitted October . Only those who’ve actually waited for their renewals even a month to when their 180 day extension is about to expire will understand. It happened in my last renewal last year . I had a month to my 180 day expiring and I involved the USCIS ombudsman and my renewal was approved that week . it'll be alright my dear .

Hi Family. I hope you all are doing well.

Please stay at your homes. This covid-19 is not a joke

And because of this virus, our cases are getting delayed. 2 weeks since NBC received my birth certificate in response to the RFE i received for I485, no courtesy letter, no case transfer notification.

So, I believe we all need to wait

@Stillwinning!!!😊 and other family members of this forum, I need advice as to the VSC processing time. My petition I-360 passed 18.5 months without any action, but more importantly they didn't issue 3rd prime facie in my case which was lapsed last week . So should I wait or any other course of action left for me?

Regardless of the time posted on the USCIS site, it can take up to and sometimes even longer than 24months to get response in some cases..most people get approved from 17 months and up..but then like I've said several times, every case is different. I received RFE at 18months...others got approved at this time..there are some still waiting for i360 approval even now that I've gotten my Greencard..there are a lot of irregularities..that's were our reps becomes relevant. They enquire to know what the delay is about..sometimes soon as they enquire..it sets the ball rolling again. Other times it makes no difference..again depending on the complexity of the case. As for prima facie, you can write to them to send it you.👍

Hi everyone,

I need to send and AP is renewal application, I have everything ready but one thing I’m not sure...My most recent I-94 doesn’t show my last trip’s date. It’s not updated in the system. Do you think I can send my package for AP renewal with the I-94 I get from the website and explain on my cover letter that it doesn’t show my last trip date? My passport has the PAROLED stamp on my passport. I called the CBP Deferred Action department but couldn’t get to talk to anyone. The automatic message says I should go there in person to fix it but Idk if they are open with this quarantine situation.

any thoughts? @sandranj @Stillwinning!!!😊 @Shroy123

I'm sure it's okay to send it with the cover letter explaining in detail the situation. You can make a copy of the parole stamp on your passport alongside your explanation. You should be fine at least that's what I think. Wait for other inputs..I've never dealt with AP situation ever..always said I'll wait for my GC before taking any trip.👍

I just need to have it ready because of my dad’s health situation. I already went to visit my family twice with my AP.

Thank you for sharing your opinion. Let’s see what other members will say...

What was your field office for the interview? I'm surprised it got scheduled so soon.
