Can someone please clarify about the medical records. I heard that they last 2 years, but the civil surgeon signature is only valid for 60 days... Should I wait for the interview notice to get an exam, or should I do it now while I wait (probably 6-10 months or so)?

Hi good people....i want to ask if its ok for me to do divorce now. I submitted vawa and have received prima facie and done my fingerprints. My spouse is pushing me and threatening me with immigration to do the divorce. Will doing the divorce now affect my vawa application? Thanks

Yes, it is absolutely safe for you to divorce now. In some ways it's even better to do it sooner rather than later for your application.

Need help please.

Vawa July 2018 filer here.

Received email update that “notice was returned to USCIS because the post office could not deliver it”.

Quite weird being that I requested a change of address in 2019 and have been receiving USCIS mails after my address change. Please advice. What should I do here? Could this potentially be a RFE?

Online it shows that they are already processing March 2018, I was in the same situation 2 months ago - I contacted my congressman, and filed online and paper requests to ombudsman office. Received my response after a couple of weeks. Hope this helps.

Inquiry to your congressman to confirm the address was change and to resent your RFE or any correspondence... I will also write a letter To Vermont asking to resend.
