Hi everyone, how long is the wait for EAD ? I applied in aug 2019 and after answering the initial RFE , which was 77 days ago status for i360 still says we received your response and for i485 case was received and i765 fee were waived. When they suppose to update fingerprints were taken to i765? Anyone waited this long ,8 months for EAD?

Hi,

I filled my I765 and I131 on august 8th category c09 and I havent received it yet. It seems uscis moved all my cases to vermont because I cannot have any info about my previous forms  by phone nor online. I also sent another  I765 and I131 forms  under category c31 with my vawa and no news until now. Good luck

Hi good people...just an update on my vawa application

Vermont received my package on Jan 07 and sent me all fee waivers

Received prima facie and fingerprinting letters on Feb 27 and did my fingerprint on March 6..

Just want to ask when to expect ead after fingerprinting and is it still likely for vawa to be denied after prima facie establishment?

If you don't have the money to pay USCIS fees then submit again, you probably   didn't submit enough proof showing you do not have funds to pay the fees.Submit your bank statement, mention how much you pay for rent, food, phone, commute,etc...

Hello Sandra, I've sent message to your inbox .Please reply, Thanks

How long did it take you to receive your e notification or paper receipt?

In rare cases yeah..this means there's always a small possibility..but receiving PF shows your documents are in order..nothing to worry about. For the EAD, give it 5months..it may come earlier..or later..stay expectant. I pray it works out beautifully for you!🙏👍

On the letters...the received date was 01/07/2020 and the notification date was 01/16/2020. But I never heard of this good news from my attorney for about a month and was wallowing in distress. The same with the fingerpring date. The date for the issuance or the notice date was 02/14 but my attorney released the information to me on aroud 03/03. Dont understand why the time gap between the notice dates and my attorneys dissemination of these important information is too wide.

It's normal that notices are being received 2 weeks after the date. USCIS are not the fastest from issue to mailed, and they must have a contract with USPS to get the opposite of preferred processing :D I have notices that were delivered to me almost a month after the date on the notice so it's not always the attorney at fault here

Hi folks, am filing my i-485. I was married to my abusive husband and my work permit ran from Jan 2018 to Dec 2018. But he abandoned me  January 2019 and never showed up for interview. My case was abandoned. Finally, we got divorced but I was still working with it in the office where I worked cos I have no other means of survival. They finally stopped me working on march 2019. I applied for vawa July 2019 and got RFE on September  2019 which I responded Jan 20120. Now I am filing-485 and I got to the question  of "have you worked unauthorized".

Secondly, A question says have you been in removal proceedings ? I dunno what it means ...I didn't show up for my interview because my abusive husband got the letter on the mail and tore it before abandoning me, unknown to me I have been called for an interview only to receive a 30 days notice to leave the country. So is that a removal proceeding ?

I don't know what to put because if I say yes, will they deny my application or if I say no will they find out later. Please friends help me with an answer @sandranj@Stillwinning!!!😊

God bless you all wonderful people.

As far I understood you receive a letter stating your AOS was denied and you have 30 days to leave the U.S right? this is not the NOTICE TO APPEAR IN COURT(NTA). If you didn't file form I-485 yet then file the AOS right now, and as soon you get the I-485 receipt then write a letter to the local office informing that you filed a new AOS and a VAWA, self petition as well, submit a copy of  VAWA receipt, and ask USCIS not to issue the NTA.
