@Ylx @Modu and everyone else waiting for your I-360 approval notices, it is coming real soon. I just received notification for mine today while I was at work, so happy :-). So rest assured your letters are on their way too, be blessed! 🙂

Thank I hope so! Have only the card ( EAD C31) without SSC or the approval letter is like have a candy wrapper without the candy 😾.

Congratulation on your approval :)

Yes you're right I360 approval first before 485 but in my situation it was the opposite, 485 interview before 360 approval. There's no interview for the 360 just one for the 485. You might be the lucky one to have both approvals with no interview 😊🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Awwwww, COngrats!!!!

Hello everyone! I received 2 days ago receipt notice of my EAD renewal, my previous EAD card expired last May 30, 2020 (for those who have read my previous post I only discovered lastminute that the category I filed for renewal last january was wrong. I filed c31 instead of c09 so I hurried up sent an overnight renewal application to beat the May 30, 2020 expiry). Anyway, the receipt notice indicates a RECEIVED DATE OF May 28, 2020 but the NOTICE DATE is June 4, 2020. I would like to make sure that I am qualified for the  180- day extension to work since the received date is before the expiry, correct? I just want to make sure I am on the correct ground when talking to HR as I am already suspended at work because of this.

Thank you all!

Yes, you qualify. https://www.uscis.gov/i-9-central/44-automatic-extensions-employment-authorization-documents-eads-certain-circumstances "The filing date (the date USCIS received the application) appears in the Received Date field. Except as explained below for TPS beneficiaries, this date should be on or before the “Card Expires” date on the EAD."

Hello guys, I had reached out to my congressman to inquire on my behalf regarding some irregularities in my case (such as receiving a letter from USCIS in January 2020 saying my name is wrongly spelled on my EAD when it was in fact correctly spelled ( on both my C31 and C09 and I received both in Dec 2019) and also not being able to get an official approval letter for my vawa after my C31 was approved in late November 2019). Today, My congressman's secretary told me that she had reach out to vermont office multiple times but they won't pick her calls or respond to her emails. She also said that, she only has that problem with Vermont office, every other USCIS office that she has reached out to have responded to her. So, her assumption is that USCIS Vermont is closed. She told me to call again in 2 weeks to remind her so that she can try to reach out to Vermont again and see whether there will be any success. Has any one had similar experience? My Congressman is Lance Gordon of Texas

Feb 2020

No notification, just a letter in the mail requesting me to appear for my vawa 485 interview.

Was in school back then so I quickly got my medical redone, took time off school to attend.

March 2020

Interview - it wasn't as easy as I expected, I had to start from scratch by the telling the officer everything because that was what she requested to know. Wasn't friendly or hospitable.i went thru my horrors during the interview which was almost 2 and half hours.

Refused to tell me whether my vawa was approved or not. She barely didn't want to read to me my 485 case number but she finally did with EAC........

don't want to go much into it but for actual details you can read my experience during the beginning of March of the forum here.

At least your congressman is doing something, mine in Miami, FL, Frederica Wilson has not done anything and when I tried to reach her staff they just answered me reluctantly.
