@AhmedEid you need your work permit bro... and you are a grown man , so file for i485 and i765 you don’t need to wait till i360 Approval.. NO

if u are married to a USC and you file for i360 Vawa  you can also file for form i485  

form I765 along side which can get you EAD C09 which is family based ... so if you are thinking of filling for EAD it must be EAD C09 category .... but if you are married to a green card holder you can not file form i485 or i765  , you would have to wait until ur i360 Vawa is Approved ....

You can file for EAD C31, it will not be approved until VAWA approved.  They just recently added it to I-360 application.

Hey guys, so I got my EAD C31 on hand yesterday, until when do I expect the approval letter? It’ll be two yrs from filing this Sept 2020. Inputs please @Stillwinning!!!😊 ? Anybody?

Hi..been a while. How's it going?☺ anyways you can expect to receive it anytime within the next 3months! Got mines within a month of receiving C31..but I'm currently seeing longer waits!👍

My VAWA was approved in mid March, yesterday I received notification about approval letter, after 3 months.

Nope, didn't get any notifications about that.. I'm guessing it's because NYC offices are pretty slow and covid19 happened, so yeah.

I'll wait until end of June,  f nothing happens I will definitely request help from my congressman.

if you need a work permit then file i-485 and i-765. 

When i went to a lawyer she told me same thing to wait but i needed a work permit to work. good thing i joined this forum and i learned you can apply for i-485 and i-765 if your spouse is USC. I then did file i-765 and got my work almost a month ago. 

What i learned from this forum is that most of those lawyers out there do not know much about VAWA.
