It's not a combo card..just EAD. You'll need AP to be able to travel.👍

Thank You for the fast reply.
Is it safe to travel with advance parole if i overstayed my visa for over 3 years?

Only the EADs annotated on the front of the card "VALID FOR RE-ENTRY TO THE U.S." and "SERVES AS I-512 ADVANCE PAROLE" are valid for travel. The cards annotated "NOT VALID FOR REENTRY" are not valid for travel.

Wow! I believe the pandemic had something to do with the delays...sincerely hoping thinks pick up now that they are reopening! It won't be long now.👍

@Stillwinning you have a way with words, making us feel better here with your assurance that things will only get better. I dont think N.Y is one of the field office that has been opened  on Thursday. I saw another N.Y lawyer on youtube mention around June 15 or 18 I believe. I also check the website, it say closed.

In my opinion, it's safe. Just a reminder that "Parole upon your return to the United States is not guaranteed."

Also, travel to Schengen Area, UK, Ireland, Iran, China, or Brazil is risky. Those proclamations are vague: "The entry into the United States, as immigrants or nonimmigrants, of all aliens who were physically present within the ____ during the 14-day period preceding their entry or attempted entry into the United States is hereby suspended and limited subject to section 2 of this proclamation." Do they count Parole entry as either IV or NIV?

Smiles☺ thanks my dear. Hope is very important..without it there's really nothing to hold on to..to look forward to! Hope keeps us going...it will all fall into place at the right time! The word used is that they are 'begining' to reopen..so I'm thinking maybe not all at once..but gradually...your GC is coming don't stress too much!😀

My VAWA case was approved 274 days Baltimore field office

Not so bad..it's not up to a year! These folks here have been waiting for 17months...honestly sometimes I don't get how USCIS operates..for instance @gurgen was approved Jan 2019, I was approved Mar 2019...same field office..got my Greencard March 2020..gurgen is still waiting to get scheduled. Even some other members with same field office too.(one case got aporoved since 2018 still waiting also) I know how frustrating it can be..but once it's behind you..it won't matter anymore..y'all just keep been strong!👍

Hey guys!

I had my VAWA approved on January, 27 2020 and I got my work permit a couple weeks afterwards.

I still didn't receive the approval letter, I even sent a letter to them asking for the approval letter and I still don't have anything in hands. Should I worry about it?

Can I apply for the green card even without the approval letter?

Thank you in advance for your help!

@Roger12 hello dear what are you waiting for when you got ur EAD C31 already?I guess ur husband was a Green card holder so that why u didn’t file concurrently, well cool.... You don’t need the Approval letter to file for form i485,.., EAD C31 is based on an Approved vawa and USCIS knows this... that mean you are only given EAD C31 if your vawa is Approved... all you need do make a photocopy of your EAD C31 Front and back , Add your i360 vawa receipt notice  to it and fill out the i485 form  to register permanent Residence  ,check how much is cost to file i485 form guess it’s abt $1200  get a money order to that abt value and add to the package you sending, just check USCIS site to be sure abt amount .,, then write a cover letter to say ur Vawa i360 was approved on this date (?) that you received ur EAD C31 based on an approved i360 Vawa that now you are filing for i485 based on an approved Vawa ...
