I submitted my ead/ap renewal for c09 3 weeks ago and Today i received receipts for it

No fee was attached only i485 receipt and last copies of my combo card. my i485 based ead/ap is expiring on October 2020 but just for a safe side, i applied for a renewal almost 180 days before.

my c31 is expiring on Nov 2020. Should i wait until September or October to apply for it because i am pretty much sure i will get an interview notice by that time or I should apply for c31 renewal now? I mean even though my c09 is expiring on 10 october 2020, based on the renewal receipts i received today for my ead/ap, i am eligible for automatic 180 days extension

any suggestions?

I feel you may get an interview date before then too..just that it's always better safe than sorry!💁 It's two things..you either take a chance or renew!

That was really fast. As for the i485, it will still be transferred regardless of whether you get a notification or not.. I'm in N.Y. too and my VAWA was approved March 2019..i485 was transferred June 2019. Just to give you an idea..and of course each case is different!👍

Thank you hun. I wasn’t expecting it to be approved so fast since the first one took over a year! But I’m happy because I need a vacation when all this calms down.

You need a work authorization. You can't work without it. You can request to expedite it

Hi I'm not sure how it's going to play out in this scenario..but if you are able to proove financial difficulty by way of presenting your banks statements, bills..etc also if the company can issue you a letter stating that you are employed and that they will be at a loss..something in that line if your employment is paused..so to say..then USCIS may consider the request to expedite! This makes me feel that you already should be an employee of the said company and already adding value and that your discontinued contribution is what will adversely affect the company. If this is case then you're all set..let me know if this makes sense!👍

Hi All.

I hope everyone is staying safe during these difficult times. I have a quick question for you, I submitted my VAWA application along with AOS, EAD/AP at the end of April 2020. I received a receipt notice for the I-360 but not any of the other forms. Should I be receiving separate receipts for them at a later date? I was not in removal proceedings prior to filing. Please let me know.

Thank you

You should receive separate receipts, my aos and ead was rejected twice before it was accepted the third time. Did you file fee waiver?

Timeline:

02/06/2019: I-131, I-360, I-485, and I-765 sent to USCIS

05/25/2019: EAD under c09 category

05/28/2020: I-360 approved and I-485 moved to local office

Waiting on the interview to be scheduled once they reopen offices. Did they waive anyone AOS interview?

Congrats and wow! Another fast one! Hopefully you hear good news real soon!👍

Hello everyone!

I started with a l-130 l-485 and I-765 in 2019

i got my ead in august 2019

I got the interview letter in November for January 2020

but my relation with my wife wasn’t ok so I asked the lawyer to file for vawa but he didn’t so I immediately changed lawyer and asked to send the I-360 ASAP, the new lawyer send a letter to my local uscis center(Newark) saying that I couldn’t attend the interview because I would have an important family meeting and I would be in Italy.

vermont received my I-360

On February 2020 I got a letter saying that my I-130 was denied because the motive wasn’t enough. (I was already with a pending I-360)

In March 2020 I got a rfe for good moral which I answered in April.

May 2020 I got the prima facie letter (on app tracking is still saying that they received my response)

the I-485 didn’t got denied but is 180 days on interview was scheduled

my ead expires in august 2020 I filed for a renew 3 months ago (c9)

what’s going to happen ? Why they don’t update my I-485 is it going to be denied? Or is good until my I-360 gets approved?

Ps: my first lawyer told me that he had sent the i-360 and I discovered that he didn’t that’s why I only sent after the interview notice

info about my 360

i sent affidavits from friends (4) , fbi record , state police record , psychologist report , bank statements with both names and address, rent contract with both names, self affidavit explaining our relation and what happen after the relation, some pictures from wedding and random moments, I also sent some accomplishments like diploma, credit score, civic jobs(grocery during COVID for neighbors)... to proof good moral

hope it gets approved and I don’t get rfe

If someone can help me I appreciate!

I wish a good day to everybody and good luck with your process
