If you are from Brazil you need  the Federal Police and the State Police certificate. You can obtain online, don't forget to validate online  the certificates.

You can get online the State Police certificate  as well, if you are from Sao Paulo you can use the link below, if you are from another State then you have to find the link to apply online.

Hello everyone,

 

In my RFE, USCIS also required to make a self-affidavit (on top of the police clearance) of good moral character stating I don't have criminal records, etc. 

 

To anyone who have done it, did you just make it in your own words or is there a good format to follow?

I had to do same thing too(self-affidavit) as it was also requested by USCIS! So here's the thing..aside the pledge to put down only truthful statements which comes before or after the attestation, you can use your own words..no set format at all.Good luck!👍

I sent the inquiry online through the link that uscis put on my case status.

 

But days later my attorney told me he received it.

Well for me it was 60days after responding...but we're seeing longer waits ococcasionally here... As for your affidavit, I believe the legal language for your opening statement should read something like this..."I swear under oath/penalty of perjury that the following are true to the best of my knowledge..." Maybe not my very exact words but you're basically pledging to NOT lie under oath!👍

I have the I-765 form, I-485 receipt notice, 2 passport photographs , photocopy of my current EAD. Please  Am I missing any other document?

Hi guys just adding to the forum for reference. 
I765 & I131 expires May 28, 2020

 

I applied for my I765 and I131 renewal in February 2020

 

Both were approved and card being produced June 2, 2020 about 127 days all together. 
 

vawa approved April 2, 2020 still waiting on official letter though. No update on I485 transfer as yet either.

That was really fast. As for the i485, it will still be transferred regardless of whether you get a notification or not.. I'm in N.Y. too and my VAWA was approved March 2019..i485 was transferred June 2019. Just to give you an idea..and of course each case is different!👍

You know I’ve been wanting to ask because I’m in NY too. It says online my 485 was updated the same day my vawa was approved but when I click on it, it’s still the same message from when I initially filed (We received your blah blah blah). Should I contact anyone to help me? Lol I’m so much in a rush to get this thing moving as u can imagine!! I’m hoping that they approve it without interview. I’m guessing things may be faster now since trump paused other green cards From specific categories Which hopefully means there are more officers to focus on Vawa

The proclamations by Trump don't apply to USCIS when adjudicating I-485 for those categories. They apply to DOS when issuing visas and CBP when immigrants apply for entry at a Port-of-Entry.
