Like by applying for advanced parole or something ?

Just be aware that travel to (or transiting through) Iran, China, Schengen Area, UK, Ireland, or Brazil is risky. Those proclamations are vague: "The entry into the United States, as immigrants or nonimmigrants, of all aliens who were physically present within the ____ during the 14-day period preceding their entry or attempted entry into the United States is hereby suspended and limited subject to section 2 of this proclamation." Do they count Parole entry as either IV or NIV?

The other proclamation that applies to "immigrants" clearly exempts AP holders: https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/proclamation-suspending-entry-immigrants-present-risk-u-s-labor-market-economic-recovery-following-covid-19-outbreak/ So no worries with that proclamation.

Hi All.

I hope everyone is staying safe during these difficult times. I have a quick question for you, I submitted my VAWA application along with AOS, EAD/AP at the end of April 2020. I received a receipt notice for the I-360 but not any of the other forms. Should I be receiving separate receipts for them at a later date? I was not in removal proceedings prior to filing. Please let me know.

Thank you

Interesting. I got all of mine at the same time.

Timeline:

02/06/2019: I-131, I-360, I-485, and I-765 sent to USCIS

05/25/2019: EAD under c09 category

05/28/2020: I-360 approved and I-485 moved to local office

Waiting on the interview to be scheduled once they reopen offices. Did they waive anyone AOS interview?

Congratulations.

Can you please share your field office? It's great that your I-485 is transferred to the local office already.

Enjoy

My office is Chicago. (well that is what I see online for my I-485: "Case Was Received At My Local Office").

I submitted my ead/ap renewal for c09 3 weeks ago and Today i received receipts for it

No fee was attached only i485 receipt and last copies of my combo card. my i485 based ead/ap is expiring on October 2020 but just for a safe side, i applied for a renewal almost 180 days before.

my c31 is expiring on Nov 2020. Should i wait until September or October to apply for it because i am pretty much sure i will get an interview notice by that time or I should apply for c31 renewal now? I mean even though my c09 is expiring on 10 october 2020, based on the renewal receipts i received today for my ead/ap, i am eligible for automatic 180 days extension

any suggestions?

Hello everyone

can I nenew my EAD (category c9) without my vawa receipt notice  . I haven’t gotten the vawa receipt yet but I have a pending I-485 and my current EAD will expire in 2months so can I go ahead and submit the nenewal without the I-360 receipt .

To renew the work permit you need the I-485 receipt, not the I-360 receipt, plus a few other documents.

Hi Visa journey Fam.

18 months simce ive files Vawa. In the 17th month case status was update to RFE sent.

2weeks later i still don't know what they are asking me for. My lawyer haven't received the RFE in his mail yet.

Can someone please help?

After they issue the RFE usually the petitioner or lawyer receives within 10 days the request. If  you don't receive within 5 days then your attorney should  call the VAWA hotline, not you.
