Hello guys please I got this response from my inquiry from my congressman.

this was NBC response

Thank you for your inquiry regarding this constituent’s immigration matter.  U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records confirm that your constituent’s case is pending at this time.  USCIS is committed to adjudicating immigration benefits in a timely and efficient manner while also complying with all relevant directives.  While the processing steps for most applications or petitions are completed quickly, a small percentage of cases involve unresolved issues that may result in adjudication delays.

We are unable to determine at this time when the review process for the application will be completed.  USCIS will issue a decision on your constituent's case as soon as possible.

is this a generic response for we have no update or has anyone get this response before?

And silence after nothing after so not sure what's going on in Brooklyn NYC

Had contact the congresswoman in early January of 2020 and got back a reply waitng for interview.

Hi Maygirl ! I also got approved in September 2018, I haven’t got CL. Couple of times I did outside processing time inquiries but I didn’t get any response from USCIS. I don’t know how longer I have to wait for interview.

It’s just a standard respond. Meaning that it still processing and they cannot give any other answer yet.
I got the same.

Hey everyone,

I’m about to inquire about my I-485 status with my congressman too. I-360 approved mid January, approval letter in March but nothing after that. How should I ask about my I-485? I don’t know if it’s still in Vermont or in NBC or transferred to local office yet. I just wanna make sure it’s transferred so my file can start waiting in line for an interview...Any advise is appreciated...

Also...which documents should I send them for them to track my I-485 status with USCIS?

My VAWA was approved. My abuser is my son and he still lives with me. He is on drugs but he will go to rehab.

When I get my greencard what will happen if we live together? Maybe he will change.  He is my son.....

@sandranj I know you are lawyer. Can you help me?

You can enquire through your congressperson. They were the greatest resource for me. My attorney was just complacent..it was my senator that got things moving for me! You will be given a privacy release form which you'll fill out including salient information pertaining to your case, probably copy of the receipt notice for the case. Sometimes you don't get the update about the transfer, but it probably happened! Talk to you representative ASAP!👍

You should be wary/concerned of anyone who is potentially dangerous in anyway no matter their relation to you! Rehab is definitely a good place to start..Greencard doesn't change people or things...only status! I know he's your son and you love him to death and all but many people have met their end with abusive husbands, parents and children! It's a real thing! Except of course you're not facing any real threat..or dangerous situation! Definitely look the path of rehab..someone has to move..either you to a place of safety, or him to healing!👍

Hello VJ Family, I hope everyone is doing well during these times, I have been silent reader for awhile,

I filled VAWA in May 2019 and did received Prima Facia, which expires 15 June, next month, I am wondering what should I do? or just wait for them to send me a new Prima Facia, and also Ead is still pending since, I applied for it November 2019.

Thank you in advance.

You can ask USCIS to renew the prima facie.

@Stillwinning!!!😊  and any other member Please advise.
my lawyer told me yesterday that he received a letter from USCIS saying that they are working on my AOS and I’ll need a new Med exam.

so do I need to do it now.?

how long does it take from the courtesy  letter to receiving the GC.?

also I heard that now they ask to send medical exam and approve without interview.. is that true.?

If they asked the medical exam then you should provide asap.

Hello family,

I have been following this website for a long time. I filled Vawa 2018 in August, got 3 prima facie determinations, 2 EAD cards and just filled for 3rd renewal couple days ago. Today I received email that USCIS received my correspondence but I didn't send them nothing for I360 since initially filing. What does it mean? Thank you.

It's nothing for you to be too concerned about..few people here myself included got same update! People get all sorts of unrelated updates every now and then..except of course it means something else we don't know internally(VSC). Either ways it's no worries at all.😊👍

I wouldn't say generic as not everyone gets this particular response..I believe they respond based on your peculiar case! Like they mentioned, some cases are more complex than others hence the delays..Just be prayerfully patient and when the set time comes..nothing can stop your approval!👍
