I sent my initial renewal application on 4/10/2020. USCIS received it on 4/14/2020. They sent the application back requesting that I include the fee on 4/29/2020. I resent the renewal with a check for the fee on 5/4/2020 and it got delivered 5/5/2020. USCIS took the money out of my account on 5/20/2020. I haven't heard anything from them yet. I included the G-1145 form so they could notify me when they accept the application but they haven't yet even though the check has been withdrawn.

Could it be they asked you to pay fee because you attached a waiver?

@Shroy123 @HRQX could that be the case because she attached waiver?

A clarification as for my case when I first applied fees were waived for everything (i360,1485,i765,i131) Now that I am requesting renewal for c9, it means I have to pay?

Yes, but you can submit another fee waiver. If that is denied you will have to pay.

Thanks dear!😊 If I recall your VAWA has been approved correct? I believe what you received was the courtesy letter..do not do the medicals yet until you get the interview letter! It's hard to tell when you will have your interview, but you're definitely getting closer as the next update will be an interview letter..that's the only time you'll know when you'll be having the interview. Relax dear, you're almost done!❤😊

If your I-130 is approved, did husband pull I-864 from I-485?

No he didn’t pull anything at all. But I réalisé even when they have an update on my I-485 it doesn’t show on the website. I just get letters. And I réalisé the letters come to the house in his name and care of my name

And the affidavit was done by my family not his.

@sandranj    I would ask Sandra, it sounds like you didn't need to file VAWA, if he did not pull his I-864 from I-485.  When you go to interview, it will most likely be your I-130 interview.  Not sure....I would bring proof of filing VAWA to interview to prove why you are not together at interview.
