Hi VJ family,

I am Oct 2018 filer and my I-360 just got approved. They issued new EAD under C31. My lawyer said there is no conflict in having both. Whenever the later one is going to expire, I’ll need to renew.

My combo card is expiring soon so I need to renew as I am traveling to my home country.

Should I renew only the AP or combo card? Is there a fee if only AP renewal?

Thanks so much for any advise.

I sent my combo card renewal 2 weeks ago. I will send my c31 renewal next month. So go ahead and renew it

Hi all!

Has anyone traveled back to US during this COVID period? I have some family stuff going on and I am planning on going home (Europe) in June for three weeks to help my parents. My antibody test came back positive, so I am less worried about spreading the virus while traveling.

Is it too risky for immigration reasons? Has anyone been able to come back with AP card?

The Schengen Area proclamation is vague: "The entry into the United States, as immigrants or nonimmigrants, of all aliens who were physically present within the Schengen Area during the 14-day period preceding their entry or attempted entry into the United States is hereby suspended and limited subject to section 2 of this proclamation." Do they count Parole entry as either IV or NIV? If you do go to Europe, you can travel to Mexico, etc. for 14 day stay before attempting entry to US to be safe. See Ela's success with that approach (since land border is still closed, flying from MX to US is recommended):

The other proclamation that applies to "immigrants" clearly exempts AP holders: https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/proclamation-suspending-entry-immigrants-present-risk-u-s-labor-market-economic-recovery-following-covid-19-outbreak/ So no worries with that proclamation.

Awww thank you sweet heart. Yeah I've been hanging in here and finally put my awful interview behind me. Patience is always the key in everything we do and I continue to pray for 🙏 everyone. Honestly I don't know my reaction when my green card is finally in my hand.

Lol.... Maybe cry again 😁😁😁😁😊😊 cuz I won't believe it.

I pray everyone stays safe and protected thru these times of covid-19.

Countless times I prayed for you. Patience is virtue and you set an example for all of us.

Yes it's. Think thousands time before departing as airlines are playing havoc with customers.

I also plan on traveling to Europe, was thinking of going in August though.. Hopefully things would get better with everything so we don't have to worry about traveling with advance parole..

Hi everyone,

Has anyone received an answer from vermont after had sent a letter to them asking why your case is taking so long?.

I've sent 3 letters, the first one was almost 3 months ago and I haven´t received any feedback from them.

I wanna know if is happening only  to me or maybe to someone else.

No I tried sending letters too and no luck with that. Only congressman and ombudsman work.

I have the same situation. I was sending them inquiries and expedition request. Nothing. It just like I’m throwing those letter in a wall!

Sorry - another question as I am confused. If I did my medicals in May  2017 for I-130 marriage case - does it mean I should not worry about various vaccinations and stuff for vawa case? I know USCIS can send a courtesy letter before interview to get medicals done. Just would not want to run in rush to have vaccinations done last minute. Wonder if anyone was in this situation as obvisouly  I have no clue when and what vaccinations expire or not.
