Before my Greencard, I had C9 and C31 myself....just that sometimes when your VAWA is approved they send you the C31 only. Not everyone gets the two..there were experiences posted here..yes the categories don't change! So what's up with your case...any updates?😊

Still waiting for an interview... Hopefully soon  :)
I just received my fourth C09 renewal in only 30 days! I was very surprised.

That is not true. I have both C31 and C09. They don't change. You receive C31 when you have your VAWA approved and you keep the C09 based on the I485 pending. You can renew C09 even after VAWA is approved!

You can search and see when people tried to renew C09, it was denied as they have C31.

Hi everyone!

I've received one another AP in the mail. (When I badly needed I had to wait for it like 10 months, now it was approved in less than 3 months when I can't travel smh!) But, of course, my lawyer forgot to apply for EAD at the same time :s

After I asked them about it, I didn't get an answer and today I received a letter for I-765 and it says USCIS had received the application on May 11, 2020.

Well, my latest EAD expired on 4th of March 2020. Do you think that may or already have caused any problem? When it's safe to travel and if I travel to my country and come back with the currnet AP,

may I be asked about having no work authorization at the custom/borders? Because it looks like by the time I leave I won't have received the new EAD

Thanks..

So you have the paper AP document. You can travel with no problems with that. They only ask for the Advance Parole Document ( it has your picture in the bottom) and your passport. They will stamp it and also stamp your passport.

I'm sure it's the paper version, that's how I received it last time and successfully traveled 2 times with the same AP. Now the current AP is at the lawyer's office, haven't picked it up yet.

So, ok they won't bother me with expired EAD I guess, thank you so much.
