Congratulations 🎉🎈🎊🍾 @pythagorUS that was quick I’m happy for you, your case was well put together big up

It was very well put together, my attorney’s paralegal was I’ll so she had her friend (who is in environmental lawyer help with the paperwork) she threw everything in ( text messages, neighbor statements, 911 transcripts) I also had a custody case ongoing so it’s vital that I got my vawa approved. I am so thankful, I haven’t been back to my home country since I was 5.

You can apply now: https://unemployment.edd.ca.gov/guide/benefits

Or you can apply after you move via an "interstate claim;" https://fileunemployment.org/how-to-file-for-unemployment/transferring-unemployment-benefits-from-one-state-to-another/

@Stillwinning!!!😊 and any other that can answer.

My I-360 was approved back in January and I already received c39 and approval letter but today My I-360 update again to “CORRESPONDENCE WAS RECEIVED AND USCIS IS REVIEWING IT”

is it an update of my I-485.?

recently my lawyer ask the congressman to do an inquiry on my I-485.? And my lawyer already received a letter saying They are working on my AOS and I’ll need a new medical.

so what’s this update on my I-360.? And what does it mean.?

@sandranj  and other family members,

My i-131 travel application is pending since july 10 of last year. Last month i opened a service request and today i received a letter saying that

"USCIS cannot confirm or deny the existence of your application over the phone, in email or through service request. You must submit your inquire in written form and with the original signature of the inquirer".

It has given me the fax number and the address where to send. My question is does anyone has a template how to write to USCIS? My application is pending for the almost 11 months now.

I would appreciate if anyone gives me the template how to write to USCIS.  Thanks in advance.

Hi you don't have to worry about that. When there's an update on your i485, it will be on your i485 case status not the i360! After my i360 was approved, while waiting for i485 interview, my i360 updated to correspondence was received and USCIS is reviewing it....but I believe it was due to the fact that I updated my address with VSC! For the letter you received, it's the courtesy letter..your case is moving along, hoping you get scheduled soon!😊👍

Hi guys!

I need your advice one more time.

So I was mentioned here couple times that I’m waiting for my work authorization.
I filed it June 2019. It’s been almost year and I didn’t get anything yet.

Actually Tuesday I will file EAD renewal for my son...second time at that time when I even didn’t get mine.

So. May 25 my current work authorization is expiring.

So basically tomorrow will be my last day at work😭

My boss wanted to help me and found the lawyer  for me.

So when I finished to tell her my story she said that I filed wrong category.

So. Guys. Did I wrong category or she is mistaken?

I have my pending I-485

Also pending I-360

My EAD is under c09 category (through the marriage) I filed the same category for renewal.

Layer is telling it should be under I-360. So under c31 category. And i need to refile it.

Is  she right?

She got me confused.

Thank you  for your answers🙏🏻

I had the same RFE and like you I didn’t have much. We had a joint account but he emptied that a few months into our marriage so Uscis didn’t accept that. I had two affidavits from family members who who knew about the marriage from here in the states and one from my mom from my country, she’s never been here but she knew about the marriage and she spoke with my ex husband over the phone a few times. She wrote all that down in her affidavit. I rewrote my personal affidavit, this time Very detailed. I started from how we met, the courtship, when he met my family and friends. when I met his family, what we liked to do, what we had in common, what our future plans were. Our engagement, our wedding day, our honeymoon. The gifts we bought each other, when we lived together. Our daily routines. I also wrote why we didn’t have any joint things together, this was because he was so controlling. Like yours, my ex kept most of my things when we broke and I never got them back because he said he threw them out. I wrote all that in my affidavit. I also sent in text messages from him when times were good. He used to send me messages about how much he loved me. I just got approved last week. Pour your heart out in your personal affidavit and whatever you don’t have explain why. I believe you will be approve

Thanks for this piece, i am in the same situation at the moment, getting response to my rfe together. and it is hard because most public offices are closed, i cant even get police report. thank you.

you filled under right category but I think you sent your renewal to NBC  causing the delay. you should send your EAD renewal to VSC.
