Hello,
Below is my timeline. Please help me through proper suggestion what should I do to move forward.

Oct 2018 : Recipt Date: Filed vawa (i-360 & i-485) on Oct 2018
Dec 2018: Request for Additional evidences
Jan 2019: RFE submitted
Jan 2019: Name was updated for i-485
Feb 2019: Biometrics given for i-485
April 2019: RFE evidence (i-360) received response from USCIS.
Aug 2019: I-765 Submitted (Category 31)
Sep 2019: i-765 Case was updated to show finger print was taken.

 

It has been 19 months waiting for the Approval of (I-360) .Please provide your opinion when could I expect the approval, EAD and GC interview with GC card.

01/16/2019 - submitted I-360, I-485, I-765, I-131

05/02/2019 - I-765, I-131 approved

01/07/2010 - sent in I-765, I-131 renewal

03/02/2020 - approved I-765 and I-131 renewals

05/15/2020 - I-360 approved

 

Documents submitted:

1. My notarized affidavit - 6 pages

2. My birth certificate and spouse's birth certificate

3. My I-94, copies of my passport and visa

4. Marriage certificate

5. Letter, cards and online orders addressed to both of us (28)

6. 4 affidavits from friends and family relating to marriage and abuse

7. Screenshot of messages and missed calls from abuser before and after the abuse started

8. Letter from my therapist (1.5 pages) and confirmation of my appointments with her (6 appointments at that time)

9. Letter from my domestic violence counselor (saying I receive services, not an affidavit, 1 page)

10. My medical records relating to abuse

11.My volunteer records, employment and education confirmation. Also included references from work and volunteering to show good moral character, incl photos.

12. Joint checking account statements (6 statements, I sent 1 statement for each quarter), copies of joint credit cards, copies of checks we sent together

13. Joint taxes (1 year)

14. Joint lease and copies of our IDs with the same address

15. Phone bills, internet, gas, heating bills - all joint

16. Domestic violence hotline records (I called them several times)

17. Joint insurance

18. Mine and spouse's pay stubs

19. Abuser's arrest, jail and criminal records, jail visitation records

20. Copies of photos with family and friends, traveling (26 pictures)

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).

Hi Godschild,

 

I filed my VAWA on oct 2018 at Vermont. Have completed biometrics for i-485 and i-765. RFE had already been submitted and they received it. Its been 19 months till date and I never heard any news from them. I am new to this and worried why its taking long time. Whe should I expect the APPROVAL and EAD? Please suggest.

Wow..Thats Great!  My i-360 VAWA was filed and the receipt date is October 2018. Hope I can expect soon, right?

 

Anytime between 1-3 months you can expect the interview and after that between 3-5 months GC will be mailed.

I really hope that is the case but waiting time in Atlanta is very long - not thinking it will be 3 months - more like year +

Did you recieve the EAD. How early you received after the status CARD is being produced
