Well, I voted for her and I am very disappointed. I thought she was an excellent candidate, full of great ideas and plans to execute them. I felt safe with her, I felt fired up by her. But life moves on and I'm putting my support behind Bernie now, who was my second choice after Warren.

Did you really vote for her on Tuesday, why? The game has been over for her since before the supposed tiff with Bernie

To me, it doesn't matter what other people thought about her. She to me was the best choice, more aligned with my values. I voted my values. I voted my conscience. It's not always about numbers.

Good for you. That's what I did for Governor, Lt. Governor, and the local Congressional race. Unfortunately only  my candidate for Lt. Governor won his primary, the other two races were duds. But I can say that I have helped and will help the next NC Lt. Governor come in to office, and he will be the first black person to have held that role.

Hi! I'm a lefty (or so I am told ). I have checked my email and I haven't seen any recent messages from Bernie (who bombards me with texts and emails regularly asking for money) with the secret mind control image that will dictate whether I will or will not use a particular emoji. But to be honest, I haven't checked my spam filter in a bit so... 🤷‍♀️

LOL, Jenn has had something of a day on Facebook yesterday and today. I was getting worried about her with the rising number of articles she was reposting (10 yesterday, 9 today) from various sources about Warren's loss. So I took her out for a long lunch and a manicure. (Luckily she had no meetings/filings today.) She's angry and sad, and so am I, though at a lower volume. Life keeps going on. I read this thing the other week: Life sucks, and then you keep living anyway.  Chop wood, carry water, as the hosts on a podcast I listen to say. Keep plugging away. 

 

I am pretty sure Warren will endorse Bernie. My own recollection is that failed candidates generally don't endorse as quickly as these guys just did after dropping out. I suspect we'll hear an endorsement within the next couple of weeks. She's cautious, and she has her own brand. I think she'll want to figure out how to do this properly.

Another side of me wonders if it matters, could a Warren supporter be persuaded to switch to Biden and not Bernie just because she say so? 

 

She seemed committed and logical if you have invested that capital then you will be disappointed. I really do not see it as much of a call, unless she expects to be made an offer.

Most of my female friends and a large majority of my male friends were/are Warren fans. If Facebook is anything to go by (really, who knows), some people are of the "vote blue no matter who" mindset and others are feeling bereft at the idea of Biden. I think Warren supporters are more likely to fall into the former camp and vote for Biden if he's the candidate than impose a purity test on him and reject him. Not saying that Sanders supporters are like that but... I have seen some Sanders supporters like that.

I don't post much on Facebook, I just read my friends' posts (and Voldy's, of course ). I'm only in an alumni group for my graduating class, no other groups. I think the last thing I posted was when I got formally engaged. I do use the Messenger though. I got super invested in getting likes at one point a long time ago (like 10 years ago) but I now know that way lies low self-esteem and a Klonopin habit.
