hello, 8 months ago I passed the interview and since June 25 my status is in admin review, when I send mail they answer me and today I receive this message ...

what can I expect?  knowing that I am a K1 visa and they returned my passport and updated my status many times.

It's  a standard reply, as they said they will let you know once they are finished making a decision.  I would not read to much into that reply.


4 years, 11 months, 2 weeks and 3 days

Citizenship Complete!

You can expect to remain in Administrative Processing until it is complete.  At that time, they will ask for your passport or inform you of other actions required.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

My fiance and I have been in administrative processing for 1.5 years now and have never been offered an "escalation for final resolution." 

 

I would take some encouragement from that response, although you won't know where they are with their process until they actually update your status letting you know it's been approved.

 

Please post back when you finally receive the visa - there a many people stuck in the same position as you, and it always boosts moods to hear of another approval.

Packet 3 Received: 8/13/18

Interview Date: 9/20/18

Interview Result: Administrative Processing

 

*Visitor's visa interview: December 2016, called back by embassy for second interview on same visa application in January 2019 - visitor's visa finally issued May 2019.

 

*Fiance visa placed in administrative processing September 2018. 

 

*Beneficiary's Country: Norway via Iran.

You will know it is close when they tell you tp get a new medical.

September 25, 2018 Interview in CDJ and Approved!

October 7, 2018 In the USA

October 27, 2018 Green Card received 

October 29, 2018 Applied for Social Security Card - November 5, 2018 Social Security Card received

November 6th, 2018 State ID Card Received, Applied for Global Entry - Feb 8,2019 Approved.

July 14, 2020 Removal of Conditions submitted by mail  July 12, 2021 Biometrics Completed

I'm stuck in this response from embassy four months ago. But don't lose hope , it may could be soon to get approval.
