Is there some trick to register for the egov site?  When I tried first it said the username was alreadu used, then when I changed that it said the email address was alerady registered.  When I went to the "I forgot my passowrd" it went to the myUSCIS page, so it looks like the 2 are connected.

Yes and no. I don't know how they work, but they are absolutely tricky. For the USCIS Tool website, I have been using multiple emails for the same reason; there is always a problem. However, for the first website, I have been using the same account I set up when I did the AOS.

I have one more question. The address on my USCIS profile is missing the apartment number, even though I sent the correct mailing address for the address change request a few months ago. Is it something I need to worry? I did put the full correct mailing address in my N-400 application.

I have the same thing, the online account does not show my apartment number and would not give me an option to add it in the settings. However, it is shown on the N400 Receipt notice online and I then received it in the mail. I guess it is either a glitch on the website or some security reason idk

I'm not 100%, but I think they'll use the address you put in for your N-400 application. I'm changing my surname and when I got the NOA1 it was addressed with my new name, so that's why I assume they'll use that address. Hope that eases your mind!

The apartment number doesn't show up on our address either (on the USCIS site), so I wouldn't worry about it. Probably just a glitch or something they forgot to add when making the site, who knows.

 

When I checked the NOA-1, the full address with the apt number is on it, so that's what matters.
