It looks like “ALL OFFICES” are currently closed. They did not notify me also about it and went to their office for my Bio Appt., unfortunately they are closed! The next day, i received an email and text from USCIS stating that they are closed.

I filed on the 4th, was supposed to have biometrics on the 23rd but field office was already closed. I can't wait to see the delays and backlog this will cause, not to mention people falling through the cracks. I'll probably utilize my state representative again if it starts looking like a rescheduled appointment is taking too long to materialize.

I feel like I'm cursed. The only process that took the normal amount of time and effort was the K1 visa back in 2014.

I am also since 2014 in this process and just want to say.. that I believe the Benefits Centers are still working. I want to think that while all this is happening, they are still working in our cases. We should focus our energy and study for the citizen test. Once everything gets back on track, I'm sure everything is going to be quite fast.
Or, Am I too optimistic? 😅

Just made it into the March filers, filed late evening on 3/31!  I don't know how the paperwork travels inside the system, but hope that a lot of the background work can proceed even during the office close downs.

I would say yes, and nope. I think that the time frame between biometrics and interview is going to be "shorter", not saying that it is going to be quick, just short.

I think at the end of the day this will benefit everyone.  We will have to wait more until the offices open, yes.  But in the meantime they can be doing background checks and going along the process with everything else that does not need the fingerprints.  Once the fingerprints are taken, I'm hopeful everyone's wait time for the interview will be shorter.

Hi, I will be applying for N400 no later than this month.

I have a question about submitting tax transcripts.

I already have copies of tax return.

Do I also have to submit tax transcripts?

I would like to do so just in case, but the internet won't allow me to download it. And, called them several times and they do not answer the calls.

Can I just submit the copies of tax return?

Look forward to hearing back from you guys..

I looked at my file and I just uploaded tax returns, not tax transcripts. I was having issues downloading transcripts from the IRS website so I decided to just upload my returns instead. The way I see it is if they want my transcripts they'll send a notice to me, but I'm assuming the returns will be enough and have all the information they need.

Thank you so much! Just submitted my N-400 application through online!

I have one more question. The address on my USCIS profile is missing the apartment number, even though I sent the correct mailing address for the address change request a few months ago. Is it something I need to worry? I did put the full correct mailing address in my N-400 application.
