I wonder how many of us that hasn't received any cancellation/reschedule notice will fall through the cracks due to all this 🤨

Went to my biometrics appointment this morning to the Tampa office, and it was closed. This was the sign they had on the door.

Guess we will have to wait for them to reschedule 😓and probably be put at the back of the line behind people that submitted their petition after me. 😭bummer

Hello All,

I just completed my application and submitted online. I would have been done on March 23rd (The first day I was legally able to do so), had it not been for the glitch on Google Chrome.

 

I uploaded all my evidences and when I hit submit, on the summary page it didn't show the attachments and when I go back to look on Evidence page, all the attachments are gone. It took 3 days to get a hold of USCIS Technical Help desk, and guess what? They asked me to use Internet Explorer (and it worked. What? Really? Come on!).

 

So, finally done uploading all evidence. Got the application number and it says it takes upto 48 hours to display the details on my login.

 

Now onto waiting.

USCIS updated their website to show all ASC offices closed until 4/7/2020 as of 3/25/2020.

 

My appointment is 3/30/2020 and I live 2 hours away from Norfolk USCIS.. i have not received any cancellation notices online or mail..

Just letting everyone know, I applied on the 14th. I received my receipt notice but no sign of a biometrics appointment yet. My theory Is that it seems they won't even to attempt to make/reschedule an appointment untill they see if they need to extend the closure.

Uscis office closed until April 6. They will then reschedule those who didn’t get to have their biometrics done

Got my NOA1 in the mail today, not expecting to get the notice about biometrics for a while but glad to have a physical receipt of my application.

It looks like “ALL OFFICES” are currently closed. They did not notify me also about it and went to their office for my Bio Appt., unfortunately they are closed! The next day, i received an email and text from USCIS stating that they are closed.

Yes. We must wait for the new date. Somebody who work inside the biometrics center told me the day i went to take my bio and it was closed

I filed on the 4th, was supposed to have biometrics on the 23rd but field office was already closed. I can't wait to see the delays and backlog this will cause, not to mention people falling through the cracks. I'll probably utilize my state representative again if it starts looking like a rescheduled appointment is taking too long to materialize. 

 

I feel like I'm cursed. The only process that took the normal amount of time and effort was the K1 visa back in 2014.
