I received my scheduling notice today for July 12th. 😎

Hi , I filed in early march 2020 , I received an email ( we have taken action on your case ) longed in , but there was no update , so far still nothing its almost a month . I tried to ask Emma but I didn't get any useful reply . I called USCIS but they told me that we requested interview and that my case moved to Fresno , really confusing .

Would appreciate your help if you have any idea what that means .

If that was the first email you received, I assume it means you were placed in the queue to be scheduled for your interview and you’ll receive another email like that once you actually get scheduled. It took about two weeks after that first email for me to get scheduled and get the second email.

Based on the timelines shared on here, some folks get scheduled “out of order”, meaning even with the same application date you might get scheduled a few weeks earlier or later compared to someone else.  Perhaps the move to Fresno added some extra time? But it sounds like you’re at least in the queue to get scheduled, so I assume you’ll get scheduled relatively soon. Finger crossed!

Thanks , sorry maybe I explained it wrong , I didn’t move to Fresno , the first time I called them to ask what the action is , they said we moved your case to Fresno and they don’t know why , the 2nd time I called they said we requested interview .
my concerns is why it has been moved to Fresno and why I get nothing for a month now .
it seems that most applications in March got scheduled.
not sure if it’s a good idea to call them again :))

Gotcha! That does seem odd. I’d say calling again definitely can’t hurt.

If you don’t mind me asking , what was the estimated wait time on your profile when you got scheduled for interview?

I believe it said 25 days a couple of days ago (it had been counting down from 30), but now it says 14 months.

Strange it says 14 months , it’s now showing interview scheduled?

I am also a March 2020 filer. My interview was on May 5, and my estimated time is 12 months now. Just want to cry 😭!  I am not sure if it means I will wait for 12 months to get an oath. I had a recommended approval notice on the interview day but still wait for the oath information. There is nothing update after the interview date. It has been over three weeks. Hope will not wait for 12 months.

The estimated time 12 months appeared on my account after my interview date 5/5. I did not see it before my interview. I do not know what's the meaning of this estimated time if we have completed the interview. I am afraid it means I will wait for another 12 months for the oath.

Don't worry about the estimated time.  The numbers close to the end of the journey have become crazy due to the covid shutdowns.  My estimate was about 12 months when I had my interview and same day oath.  Even after the oath I was getting "action was taken on your case" emails and a long estimated time.

Thanks so much for the kind words. It is so good to know that we can ignore it. The estimated time definitely drives people crazy.

Did you have your interview in San Francisco office ? Usually they give approval on spot and same day oath . What did the office tell you ?

Hey everyone! Just an update on my case. March 2020 Filer here. Got my biometrics done May 26. Weird that I got a schedule for that and my wife is still waiting for her biometrics. I assumed that we would be doing biometrics at the same time. I should have asked the ASC about her case when I did my biometrics. They told me to wait for the interview notice but I wouldn’t be too excited knowing all these delays and backlogs. All I am waiting for now is for my wife to get her biometrics to be scheduled. Is this a common scenario? We filed at the same time. Any advice? She already called USCIS and gave us 120 days for the notice.
