I don’t think it matters a lot that you didn’t receive your Biometric app. Nobody is Getting biometric done yet it was all canceled. Hopefully you’ll be done earlier than Feb 2021. Most probably things will start pick up soon. I read about a lot of people that got their interviews way before their completion estimates. Good luck!

I think with all the craziness going on these estimates are wrong. Hopefully they figure out a safe way to clear all the backloads

My estimated time just went the other way.  It was January 2021, now September 2020!!!  I haven't heard anything about biometrics yet.  I applied March 31st so I never got an initial appointment for biometrics.

I have just found out on the  USCIS website, that my biometric will be reused (last taken on 6/24/2019 for ROC). The notice, dated 8/7/2020, reads:

This notic einforms you that USCIS is able to reuse your previously captured fingerprints and other biometrics. USCIS will run the same security checks and useyour biometric data as in the past, however, it is not necessary for you to appear at a USCIS Application Support Center (ASC) for a biometricsappointment. The biometrics fee will not be refunded

This is great news if they are truly reusing previous biometrics.

Not to be the party-pooper but when they sent letters to all those who filed ROC and indicated that their biometrics will be reused, months later they ended up getting new letters stating to appear for biometrics appointment.

Now the USCIS site says they have scheduled the interview. But there is no notice uploaded, so I don't know the date yet.

hmm, interesting I never saw anyone in our group that went through ROC having to do so even though most of us did indeed get the letter that they were  re-using our Biometrics from AOS for our ROC and we never ran into that issue. Everything went fine. Hopefully they will be fine this round too for those that get the biometrics Waiver and they don't run into that issue. Fingers Crossed!! 🤞🙂

True, because of what happened with "biometrics waived" during ROC it's too early for me to actually believe they will be waived for N-400. Pretty much everyone in our ROC thread (and close by ones) who received letters about getting their biometrics waived got a biometrics appointment later on in the process. So now I'm thinking it'll be the same thing all over again for N-400. I think they send out such messages to keep people from flooding customer support asking why they haven't received biometrics appointments yet. It's too early to know if these messages are actually true.

Checked my case, it was January 2021, now it's May 2021 😆. Looks like I'm not the only one!

I Just read that someone who applied in March already received an interview notice. Which also means that they are really reusing old biometric. Looks like things are moving fast now
