I have another question please,

 

I got married to my fiancee after our K1 got denied and she is processing her change of name, we already have the affidavit and she is now waiting for the Gazette from ghana publish. 

 

Just inquiring, do we need the Gazette for me to submit the i-130 because the affidavit shows the name change. 

 

Do i need her birth cert aswell. 

 

Or would i need a copy of the biometrics part of her passport? 

 

Just want to make sure if i need all these because everything else is ready to go.

Don’t need her birth certificate or her passport bio page, that’s only needed at the next step. Don’t need to wait for the gazette either. You can just go ahead and submit the I130, the marriage certificate shows proof as her name change for the I130. Just make sure you put her entire maiden name under “other names used”

The Marriage Certificate shows her maiden name without the name change, can I attach a copy of the affidavit she did for her name change to the I-130 just to show some proof. Just making sure I have everything please.

Marriage certificates, as far as I know, always only show the previous name before getting married, regardless it's sufficient proof of her name change for USCIS. You don't need an affidavit of name change, the marriage certificate is proof enough since the marriage certificate is what you use to be able to change your name. All they care about is that Ms A married Mr B and the marriage certificate is enough for them to know that Ms A is now Mrs B, they don't need anything else. We only included our marriage certificate as proof of my name change, and most people only include the marriage certificate as proof as well, it's all you need for the name change proof.

Just a quick questions, i am printing out the paperwork, is it okay if the forms are printed double sides or does it have to be one sided for all of them?
