Can you share what was the reason of rejection ?

Sure. Wrote more about it in the February thread, but basically I sent it in on February 23rd, but because the shipping label said February 24th, USCIS considered my forms outdated. (They changed on February 24th.) The USCIS guidelines said it was the date on the receipt which would count (which you could also see by checking the tracking number), but that's not how they actually decided which application to accept and which to reject. Many people got rejections due to the same reason. Called them, and Tier 2 officer said "there is no way for me to fight a rejection."

In short: I cut it too close to the deadline. Should have submitted it earlier or just followed the new rules that I have followed now.

No, no... I have read some of your replies/comments from the beginning of this thread and they are of great help. So, thank you.

I am almost done with my i-944. The only thing that's giving me headache is the credit score thing.

I will just do the same thing as you did. That's what I've read in most threads.

I will send my packet tomorrow. Good luck to us!

Good luck! I re-sent mine Saturday, it arrived this morning so I am going to be on a similar timeline to you!!!

Got our hard copies yesterday. Curious to how the biometrics might work with everything going on currently. How long does it take to get the appointment letter for that, a week or two right?

Congrats!

congrats on sending those AOS's in. My husband and I keep saying we're going to send it out, but we keep double checking everything 😆. Also, keep hoping for that darn SSN card. If we don't get one, how do we show proof that he doesn't have one? How can we search for his SSN on annualcreditreport if he doesn't have a SSN to input?

I’d just attach a screenshot showing they need a SSN to search for a report and then attach a note saying you don’t have one yet and therefore can’t search.

Thanks, we'll probably end up doing that.
