Did you have USPS send your mail to your new address? I was in the same boat, but USPS forwarded it, so it just took a while longer. I received my Notice on Day 11 after my status online updated.

Yep, I did set up mail forwarding with USPS. I read somewhere on this forum that USPS does not forward mail from USCIS though? guess thats not true.

Thanks for letting me know, makes me a little more relaxed, if not i have a tier 2 officer callback request lodged so hopefully will be able to get more information

hey! Thought you might want an update from me since we are Chicago too! We got our letter in the mail today after being notified last Saturday (2/13) that our appointment had been scheduled. Ours is on 3/16!

Hey! How are you? Thanks for the update. I will have to somehow get off that automated system and force a call to a tier 2 somehow. Because it seems like my interview will be around first week of March at this rate.

anyone knows what happens if we miss the interview? Is the application seen as abandoned? Hope not

Congrats to everyone who got the interview scheduled!

My case status is still "Ready to be scheduled for an interview" from Aug 2020. I was thinking to renew my EAD which expires in Sep since I have a job. However, looks like people are getting the notice of the interview, so I may wait a little bit to see if I will get the notice soon or not...ahaha

This is exactly the same situation I am in... but it all depends where you are located. I'm in San Francisco and everything is delayed here.

Hi everyone!

Hoping most of you have received interviews already - I'm still waiting in SF and likely for a while now (earliest interview date is likely from April onwards). That's prompted me to consider starting to renew my EAD which expires in Sept. I've read that you should apply 90-180 days before its expiry but I've also read that it can take longer than that atm and USCIS processing times are up to 9 months. I really do not want to have a gap between the two as I'd need to stop working.

Anyone been thinking of this or has already proceeded with applying just in case?

@PinchOfSalt We are also SF and are going to be sending in our EAD extension tomorrow which will be 180 days before it expires. It's free to do so we figured might as well. We are also sending in the I-131 in hopes of getting another combo card.

Hopefully we will get our GC interviews before it expires but seems worth doing just in case. Supposedly the EAD renewals can be really slow, so the sooner the better.

Also, where did you see that our interviews will be at least April?

@danilich33 Good to know that someone else is in almost the same situation as we are.. our 180 days is later this week.

I signed up for an app called Lawfully and they use data posted by others to predict when you'd likely be invited for interview. Not sure how the data has factored the recent changes/delays due to covid and Trumps' roadblocks but hopefully its all starting to move for us in SF soon. My status has been on Case Ready To Be Scheduled for an Interview for 7 months now and the prediction is between Dec 21 (2020) and Apr 21, 2021. And for SF Field Office. Hope this helps! Keep me in the loop about your invite 🙂

Ah yes, I forgot about Lawfully! I just checked and ours says most likely between March 11 ~ July 10th. Who knows...

Best of luck to you - I'll make sure to post here if we get an invite. Please do the same! :)
