Hi, March 2020 AOS Filers :)

I received the second biometrics (I-131) appointment after I finished the first one and received EAD card. I am waiting for the response from the office but I would like to contact them again.

Do you know how to reach out to them? I tried Live Chat and Contact Center Call, but they don't work right now. (Live Chat worked for me before but not this time 😓)

Thanks!

UPDATE:

I went to the 2nd biometrics and received the response from USCIS after that. The representative told me that the 2nd biometric appointment notice was error since I already received EAD card. However, they could not say that I did not need to go there even it was error. Hope I can have AOS interview soon!

Be sure to  double check for the current fees as fees do sometimes increase, so please check. Additionally check the forms as listed above i.e., current version and or edition date, there has been changes to various forms since February 24, 2020. Consider sending tax transcripts instead of the 1040, and W2's. Also consider preparing a cover letter for each form in addition to the main  cover letter. Hope this helps in your preparation of your AOS. When in doubt ask questions.

Help. I am SO confused! I read in an AOS portal, coming from K1 and adjusting status after marriage, the documents I only needed was I-485, I-944, I-765 and I-864. Here I do not see I-944 but instead see I-131. Can someone please clarify?

@SJordanS

You got this list from the March 2020 AOS thread. These were the requirements at THAT time. Each month has different requirements.

4 years, 11 months, 2 weeks and 3 days

Citizenship Complete!

USCIS is like a box of chocolates, you never know what kind of answer you are going to get!!!!

 I-131 is the form for Advanced Parole, so if you want to travel before you get your greencard, you should file it.

I-944 has been a bit of a confusing thing, it used to be required, then it wasn´t, and from what it looks like on the official USCIS website, it is required now again.
