Our first appointment was for code 3 and they took all 10 finger prints.

This one says code 2.

I had the same things, however we did not have our EAD/AP card approved and issued and went to the second appoitment as the agent said to go because there could be a problem with our fingerprints on the first appointment. At the second appointment it was literally right forefinger they took and picture... not sure what to suggest

I really dont know. The original biometric letter was for 485, and 765(which was done back in august), where as this new one is for 131 and 765. We'll probably try calling to see if we have to go to this one again.

Hopefully this is not the case for you though and yours is indeed the interview letter :)

Yep your right,It was another biometric appt.

When is your second bio appointment scheduled for? I’d be curious to know what they tell you when you turn up... I just had my first biometrics done today, it said for I-485 and I-765, so I asked the officer while I was in there if he could just do it for the I-131 as well and he said no because they have to scan the barcode for that. He said I’d have to come back later if I got the second notice but that it wouldn’t cause a delay in my combo card. He did say that it would possibly be a problem if I tried to leave and re-enter the country without the associated fingerprint on my AP, so that makes me nervous knowing that I could have the combo card in hand and not be allowed to use it for AP with no explanation (except for one I asked for)!

Second biometrics is schedule for Nov. 10th. The first appointment was just for I-485 and I-765 as well. this one is for the I-131and i-765 even though we have the combo card with my husbands fingerprint on it.

Got my biometrics appointment letter last Saturday! Finally !!😢

BIO date: 10/21/2020

PD: 03/23/2020

ASC Location: Seattle USCIS ASC

We are also in Seattle and just had our bio today. Did your notice have all 3 application numbers on it? Ours was just for I485 and I765, but not I131. The guy said it wouldn’t affect the combo card but we would get a separate appointment for the AP biometrics to attend so that the fingerprint would match the combo card. So, basically said our AP wouldn’t be usable even with the combo card in hand until we got I-131 fingerprints done, but the work permit would be fine. I’m just super confused by this.

MIne is same as you(just for I485 &I765), my friend in AZ just got her second FP appointment for I131. I am so confused too. But if the work permit won't be affected by I131 FP appointment it should be fine. Only if you need to travel recently! BTW, I had my FP last Wednesday and all of my cases status still not changed (still in Case was received, Fingerprints fee was received). If your cases status are changed on the website later, can you share with me? Thanks!

Ok I’m very confused by this. My husband is in this situation. We did one biometrics and he got his combo card in the mail several weeks ago. Today we got another biometrics notice. i called USCIS and they told us to disregard the appointment since we already have the combo card. This now makes me feel like we should go? I’m so confused.

I mean, I have no idea. It seems to be happening that tons of people who have their combo cards are now receiving a second bio appointment. I’m curious what happens to those who are choosing to go anyway? I’d assume if USCIS says disregard it, it’s probably fine. I was really surprised to hear this today as well, and I don’t know why they can’t apply the same fingerprints to for the I-131, especially considering how backed up they are. We are in a constant state of stress over all of this and would likely attend if we got another notice just to be extra safe. I’d rather arrive just to be told in person it’s unnecessary and to leave than to have it impact us negatively somehow. But again, that’s just us, and I’m sure if USCIS said it’s fine then it’s fine.

My husband tried calling Friday but couldnt reach anyone.

We're just planing to go anyway. Its as you said we'd rather just show up and be told we didnt have to come, then not show up and be punished for it.
