I haven't got any of approval  yet. Only the mail for BIO appointment which would be next week!

Good luck to you!

It looks like almost everyone who's EADs are getting approved had their biometrics appointment in August. Is there anyone that didn't upload their timeline and had their biometrics in late September and already got approved without expediting?

My appointment was on 09/22, case status shows they were applied on 10/02, PD is 03/30/2020.

I'm slowly losing my mind 🤯

Here is our story:

We sent out the AOS packet (Employment-Based) in March 2020 and it was rejected by the lockbox. We checked the returned packet so many times but no error could be found......  The packet was rejected again after the second submission in April. After reaching out to multiple tier 1 & tier 2 officers as well as the lockbox, they finally responded in June and admitted that our packet was rejected in error by the lockbox in March. 🤧🤧🤧🤧   The packet was then refiled again and got accepted in July.

Since then, we were waiting for the biometric appoitment letter (finger corssed). On Oct 14, the EAD status changed to “New card is being produced” without the biometric appointment, and one day later it changed to “Case was approved”!!! Today the status changed to “Card was mailed to me”. Have never been so excited since the beginning of 2020!!!!!!

What a ride - congrats! Have you been fingerprinted by USCIC in the past?

We have the same coming today. Considering my status has been "Ready to schedule for an interview" for 67 days, I suspect the letter is the appointment letter with details on what to bring to the interview. It's postage is 50c so pretty heavy.

We had the same thing come up and we were getting excited. Just got the mail and its another appointment for biometrics.... We already went for bometrics in august and have our EAD. So we're confused as to what to do.

edit: we've been in ready to be scheduled for interview status for 2 months now.

I really dont know. The original biometric letter was for 485, and 765(which was done back in august), where as this new one is for 131 and 765. We'll probably try calling to see if we have to go to this one again.

Hopefully this is not the case for you though and yours is indeed the interview letter :)

There are two different types of fingerprints - One is one print only, the other is all 10 - code 2 and code 3 on your appointment letter.  My guess, is they did one and need to do the other.

Our first appointment was for code 3 and they took all 10 finger prints.

This one says code 2.
