That's awesome. We filed mid-March as well and I'm also from Taiwan. May I know on what state are you currently in now? I'm in California.

We're in Pittsburgh, PA, which thankfully doesn't seem to be a super backed up location. Hope you get an interview date soon!

I'm still waiting for my SSN card. I called SSA to schedule an appointment but they told me it might take 2-3 months to take place.

We checked EAD box application to received SSN in the mail after approval but nothing came up in the mail. So we called and made an appt Sept 1st to apply in person and they told us to wait 4-6 week for SSN to be processed because they need to verify it from DHS. I called them everyday to check on it and everytime I called they keep saying to wait and hes still not in the system that  means  still on the process. I finally was able to talk to some one on the 8th who have knowledge about NEW SSN application got  verification cleared two days ago and told me to wait 2 weeks lol . So i called again this morningto see if SSN has been issued and sure enough it was mailed 2 days and she even gave us SSN number on the phone. So harassing them everyday works 😄

Am very curious whats going to happen after my second set of biometrics tomorrow 😜  eitherway im just happy to be getting my EAD/AP.  As soon as the letter of approval comes i can finally get my drivers license, cannot wait. and of course to finally be a working member of society (hopefully)

Haha, yeah, I'll be happy to hear how it went! I don't understand why a second set of biometrics is needed...like they can't just use the 10 prints they already took 🙄 And I certainly hope I will not need to have second biometrics, too 😬

I jsut got an email telling me that my combocard WAS MAILED yesterday! 😁😁😁😁😁

So yesterday it changed to "Card was mailed to me" and then today it updated to "Card was picked up by the US postal service"! Maybe yours will change to that tomorrow or soon!!

You got lucky! Here in NYC they aren't making appointments like that. I'm still trying to get a date. I call SSA every single day to schedule it.

quick update, went in for my second biometrics. upon check in the woman asked... do you have a second letter? i told her this is my second letter. She told me that quite a few people have had the same but they were on the same date. She also doesnt understand why the 10 fingerprints dont get applied to all the cases....

This time is was literally a photo, right index finger and signature.

Lets see what happens....
